Where are all 'the revolvers??

I love my wheel guns (it's all i got for now) and occasionally carry my 4 5/8" Super Blackhawk 44 mag. And those that only carry semi autos ask why! Only 6 rounds and Single action? My answer........ I shouldn't need more than 2 so the other 4 are just in case and you can run out to 20 yards and test my accuracy ! LOL! O and sign me up for the wheel gun secret society !!!
You lost me at, "Need" ;)

That's just showing off!!! But thanks!! LOL!!!

Semi autos are like high school girlfriends. Enjoy them for a bit, then pass them along to someone else.

A revolver is like a loyal dog. They stick around till the end.

I think most guys into revolvers don't sell them often.

Its taken a while for me to put together my rather modest collection. The only thing that's really missing is a 2-inch S&W model 66, but I might would settle for a 686.

I think more people these days are geared to buying and selling the hi capacity wonder guns is why you see fewer for sale on the forum.
The members that do buy revolvers don't sell them very often
I've put two smith revolvers in the bst during my tenure here neither lasted an hour.
That is what I suspect, I bet if we could get the numbers these days new semis would outsell revolvers 10:1. And the people that do buy them probably tend to do it for a specific reason and keep them.

A revolver is a mans gun. All you'll ever need.

Vaqueros, old and New, must breed in the safes. These are 45 Colt and 44/40. A single action was my first revolver, and single actions have been one of my weaknesses ever since. I suppose I will have to count them one of these days, but, as mentioned above, if you know how many you have you do not have enough. I think these are all old Vaqueros.

Enough of the beauty queens - how about a working class competition gun? 66-3 fully decked in PPC trimmings, many matches under the belt here.
Tri position BoMar rib, full bull bbl with under lug, Nill grips, Roller follower DAO hammer and Ace trigger shoe. Muzzle doesnā€™t even twitch with 148 WC target loads. DA pull so smooth and light it should be outlawed.

My family of Interarms imported Rossiā€™s. My understanding is they were built in Brazil on S&W tooling after Rossi acquired a S&W plant. And are similar to K frames.

Rossi and Taurus share this Old Wife's tale. Been in business for 115 years. Their company history says that they came in in 1997 in the form of BrazTec International. Initially imported by Interarms. Current revolvers sold under the Rossi name are made in Sao Paula Brasil in the Taurus plant.
