I have been looking online for once fired 9mm brass. Found 3000 for $68 shipped. Seems cheap enough. Where do you get your brass from?

Sages Reloading Supply on facebook has some pretty sweet deals from time to time. 3k 9mm shipped for $68 seems like a great deal too.

$68 shipped is a great deal if the brass is shootable lol

Off the ground.....ammo prices have driven up the supply......I buy it when it comes about for good prices......I do pick some up from Hunters Haven in Rolesville when needed.

Police dept. firing range. 308, 45, 9mm, 380, 223/556 .40.

Thanks guys for the info. Looks like what I found is a good deal.

I do pick up my brass but I want to have a few extra laying around.... ;)

Depends on the caliber. I've got a ton of 9mm & .45ACP & range pickups augment that nicely. Rifle brass is all "once fired" by myself. .357 & .41Mag are cheaper to buy new from Starline than once-fired from most online places.

I get 9mm and 40 S&W primarily from the range. Lots of shooters do not pick up their brass. I can generally go to the range and find quite a bit of once fired pistol brass on the ground or in a brass bucket. The ground is thick with the stuff after an IDPA match since thousands of rounds are fired and only a handful of shooters stick around to recover their brass. Different ranges, however, have different policies concerning brass, so you should check to see if picking up brass is allowed.

Much of my revolver brass, 44 Mag, 44-40, 45 Colt, 32-20, 357 Mag, and 41 Mag, comes from Starline. I have gotten a good bit of 45 Auto from LEO Brass. I get their RWS or Speer most of the time.

When I used to buy pistol brass I got it from yankee2500 but I'm not sure if he still does that.

Everyone (that does not reload) shoots 9mm. It is plentiful. I always come back from the range with more 9mm than I shot. But, if you need to buy some, it is going for about 2 cents each if you know where to look. If you are on Facebook, there is a page "The Brass Bank" that has people there selling and buying brass, and I've seen great deals on there. But, $68 for 3k shipped is a good price.

I belong to an indoor range that sells brass, unsorted, for $2 per pound. The vast majority of it is 9mm.

If your in FB join one of the bigger brass and reloading groups. Wes Sage owner of Sagereloadingsupply.com is great to deal with and has deals on Xtreme bullet and brass combos

When I was shooting PPC the range master at Fayetteville PD range gave me 5 ,5gallon buckets full of brass. I still have 2 that I have not sorted. There was everything in the first 3 from 22lr to 50 AE. 2 full buckets of 40. Got most of my 9 and 45 from the PD range.I always come home with more brass than I shot. I've traded for some 10mm and 30 carbine brass
