They make 3 different bbl lengths and at least 3 different frame & mag sizes. I have a 45 and 9mm Shield but want a hi cap/double stack 9. My hands are too big for a sub compact so that should reduce the number of possibilities.

I like my M&P full size 9. 17+1 and changeable backstraps.
I actually like the 4ā compact better than my full size. The slide length difference is MAYBE 1/4ā and the grip is like 1/2ā but that size feels perfect to me and both I and 2 friends shoot the compact better for some reason.

My suggestion is the 2.0 compact. It's almost the same dimensions as a Glock 19 so it works as a carry gun but it is also big enough to offer good capacity and sight radius. I was admittedly no fan of the 1.0 but the 2.0 has an awesome trigger and ergonomics.
Are you going to carry it concealed? If so, Iād go with new 9c with the slightly longer barrel. If you arenāt going to carry it concealed, I go with a 5 inch full size gun. And yes, I have them all. Love me some M&Ps. [emoji23]
