This ain't the Secret Service with VP Harris in a Charlotte school yesterday. Looks like one CMPD SWAT officer ( with cell phone)?

Maybe some of JSOC's finest as well?

Shouldn’t she have the same protection of afforded to all the student staff and faculty? Those guys can have their cool uniforms but they should have to leave their guns locked in their cars.
 
Guy on the left with the phone doesn’t look like CMPD. Bade is different shape, looks more like US Marshall’s. The OD green patch on the guy on the right actually does look like CMPD, but I’m not sure they have NODs.

Well, Charlotte's symbol is the hornet nest.
The unit patch is blurry, but reminds me of a hornets nest.

Just heard a report on WBT in Charlotte that VP Harris took a photo with a group of school children, but no body knows where the kids came from. They were not students of the school she visited. It appears the kids were traveling with VP Harris and were "imported" for the photo op but nobody knows where they are from... (??)

Gonna need those nods when it goes dark during naptime in the K classrooms. Hard to operate operationally while tripping over sleeping 5 year olds who've been dosed with choccy milk.

Anytime you hear a politician utter, “It’s for the children”, there’s a pretty good chance it is pure BS.

If they were genuinely concerned for the kids, they’d start ruthlessly pursuing those involved in child trafficking/pedophelia…

Then again, for many of them, wouldn’t have to look much further than the mirror.😡

Local media not allowed to cover the event. Local school board members not allowed to attend.

It would have been cheaper to just send the Charlotte mayor to DC.

While a similar shape to the hornets nest patch (which I wore for a few years), the one in the pic is different. It seems more like a badge shape.

This reminds me of photos of Moscow, Mogadishu, or any other s---hole country government that do not trust their citizens. (Because they know people are starting to wake up)

I am all for protection of the VP... and this looks like an outer ring group; but still, I can remember when my Dad was at the Greenbrier playing golf and Ford was there. 2 SS agents for most of his internal walks to meetings.

EDIT - added "I am" for protection of the VP
