Let me start off by saying our original cabinets were made in the late 50's early 60's. People don't make cabinet doors like this anymore and it's a PITA to find good hinges that work with a 3/8's" rabbit. I would have much preferred nicer cabinets but she wanted it all matchy/matchy. So this is where we are. Before anyone says it, I've tried 100 times to build all new cabinets for the kitchen, new doors hardware etc. She won't let me. I think she just doesn't want to deal with her kitchen in shambles for a couple months.

So without further delay, I finished the bottom cabinets today and started on the upper cabinets.

Yes she is so far.

IF there is any chance she’d like lighting run it now. The LED under cabinet stuff is easy to run ... it the cabinet is empty plus you can touch up the paint if needed.

under cabinet lighting through the rest of the kitchen so yeah we will probably do that here too. I left overhang under the cabinets to hide it. (1.5")

Made her a little pantry on the fly this afternoon. The wife is happy. Now she can buy more backup supplies. :)
There is another shelf above the pic.
