I guess we’ll see…

At Shot Show, they indicated they would be releasing the 336 Classic 30-30 (also in 35rem) with 20” barrel and the 1894 44mag (also to be produced in 38spl / 357mag) with 18.5” barrel…. in early spring of 2023. I am definitely wanting a 44mag or 357mag, but feel like it will be the year after, before they will actually hit the market in numbers.

Anyone else anticipating or wanting one of these…. Or still waiting to get the 1895?

I’m waiting on the .357/.38 model. Also wish they would come out with a .41 mag. But that is sort of a niche cartridge, so I doubt they will produce one.

I predict you will see one done as a distributor exclusive once they are in full production and the demand for the regular production models wanes. I’m also hoping for a .327 Federal version of the 1894.

I’m also in line waiting for the release of the .357/.38 to replace the one I sold years ago. I would be pleasantly surprised if it goes into production by early spring but even if it does it’ll be hard to get with the strong demand

I am with you on the 327fed! That would be a great addition to the line up and one I would certainly want in the collection.

Y’all have peaked my peaked my interest with the .327 Federal. A caliber in lever action that I’ve overlooked. My wallet hates you, but I still like you 🤣🤣🤣

I have faith that Ruger will be a lifesaver for the historic Marlin line of firearms. Would enjoy picking up a new 336.

I’d like to see Ruger introduce a 39TK (carbine, straight grip, 3/4 magazine) in walnut as a companion to Single Six. Cool if they did matched serial number pairs

Has any mfg offer matched serial numbers across two brands? Or even Rifle/Handgun combos? I think Ruger/Marlin is perfectly position to offer matched pairs

Have you ever seen a Henry in .327?
I think it’s a unicorn
Not in person…

They currently have three different models, listed on Davidson’s website.

Big Boy (like golden boy)
Big Boy Steel with large loop
Big Boy Steel with standard loop

Of course, none are currently available 😞

I have seen one. My buddy down in Sanford has a 327 fetish and grabbed one a couple years back.
That is as close to one as I have been then. Until now, I’ve only seen them their website lol.

I owned one, but sold it without firing it. Found it at a gun show in KY. Bought it from a dealer set up there. I have a Marlin in .32 Magnum and have high hopes that Ruger/Marlin will eventually make one, so I sold it along with some other guns to speed up paying off our house. Would have kept it, otherwise.

I’d kind of like 1 of each, but if the pricing on the 45/70 is any indication I’ll probably pass.

When things settle down and you can get these for an actual retail price, you may be surprised how cheap they get.

The ones being released are already in qc from my understanding

Marlin is turning out these new rifles slower than Kel Tec does. I have yet to see one of the new 45-70's in person. There's no way new 30-30's will be hitting the shelves in any quantity this year.

I’d much rather they’re right, then be pumped out fast.

i purchased one of the new Ruger/ marlins in 45/70 a few days ago.
The 1199 price tag was just under 4 x what a paid for the first one I ever bought.
I'd like for them to make the front sight fiber optic, and the threaded barrel is an option I don't need.
If they can get their prices in line I'll buy more.
I second the need for a 327

That one looks like it has the old style bolt. I thought the new ones had that spiral shaped bolt?

Even though I bought it first of February. it was manufactured before the new bolts had replaced the old style
And this one has the marlin cowboy laser etched into the bottom of the pistol grip.
My understanding is the newer ones have the Ruger emblem there, but I'm not sure

Meh. I'd rather have a 16" barreled 357mag when it comes to classic-looking lever actions I currently desire to buy. Or because I'm terrible like that, 14.5 P&W with a good suppressor host. 18" barrel seems like a waste of weight and handiness for a pistol caliber.

As for whether they'll meet quoted release dates... lol no.

I would love to eventually get a Model 1894 once the bugs have been worked out of the initial runs
