I picked up a Winchester Model 37 a few years ago pretty cheap. The PO totally destroyed it. I have been able to locate a butt stock and forearm but am having no luck finding a barrel. It is currently a 16 gauge and would like it to stay a 16 gauge but not totally opposed to a 12 gauge if the headspaceing is the same. Does anyone know where I can find a barrel. I have tried numrichs, brownells, ebay, and Google with no luck. All places show out of stock!

Hopefully someone knows where to find one or has one.

Well every piece I need to make this a complete shotgun again popped up on ebay. For the sellers price I may just scrap this whole thing. Seller wants about 450 for the parts, barrel, stock, forearm, trigger guard, and stock bolt. I knew I would have more invested than it is worth but not almost triple

I picked up a model 37 12 gauge several years ago for cheap cause the old guy had hacked the barrel down to around 20 inches. It was his truck gun around the farm and had no value back in the day. It took me 3 years to find a 30 inch barrel to replace the hack job that came with it. I got on the waiting list at cfnparts.com and about forgot about getting on the list until one day an email came in saying they had my barrel if I was still interested. The barrel alone cost me 150 bucks. I'm rebuilding and refinishing her now as time allows. Barrel has been reblued wood furniture has been finished now I just have to finish up the receiver and the small parts and she will finally after years of waiting around be back to her former glory. Will I have more in it then it's worth probably but the model 37 red letter shotties are collector items and just continue to go up. I've witnessed a 28 gauge model 37 go for 1800 bucks being the most rare of the red letters.
