Anybody using these? I've always heard mixed reviews on XS big dot sights. These look interesting though.

It was nice to meet you in person yesterday. I have not shot the new DXT2s but I have owned the older XS. They have some advantages and some disadvantages for me. They are quick for target acquisition at ranges under 15 yards. For that small speed gain you loose accuracy. At short distances you do not see the difference on paper but as you stretch out you see the disadvantage of the large dot. The rear sight does not help. I am a big fan of gold dot front sights with a U notch rear. Gold dot functions similarly to the XS sight but you can also use it as a way to find the front sight and level the front with the rear allowing for better accuracy. With the XS you cannot do that do to the wide nature of the rear.

Good to meet you as well!
Thanks for the info. That's pretty much what I've heard about the XS system. Some people love it, others hate it. The trade off in accuracy/speed does not seem worth it to me. I like a bright green/yellow or white front sight and a blacked out rear. I think I'll just stick with what I know works for me.
