First of two stories about people messing with the wrong man's kids.

A man from North Carolina is behind bars after he was accused of molesting two young children over the holidays, according to the sheriff’s office.

But not before their father took matters into his own hands.

Mark Stanley, 60, was found with “severe injuries to his face” when deputies with the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office in Virginia interrupted what they called a “chaotic scene” on Dec. 29. Another man with a handgun was “quickly approaching” him when law enforcement arrived.

That man — who eventually dropped the weapon — told deputies he caught Stanley that morning in his children’s bedroom, according to a news release.

The kids, ages 2 and 3, were reportedly “nude from the waist down.”

Stanley was visiting Virginia over the holidays, deputies said. The father of the two children got up early to check on them when he discovered Stanley with them.

“When the (father) questioned what he was doing in the room, Mr. Stanley pushed (him) out of the room, then lock(ed) the door,” deputies said in the release. “The (father) forced entry into the room and began beating Mr. Stanley.”

It wasn’t clear who called 911, the Fredericksburg Free Lance-Star reported. But dispatchers “heard only loud screaming in the background.”

Sheriff’s Capt. Liz Scott told the newspapers that deputies possibly saved Stanley’s life.

Stanley was hospitalized before being taken to Rappahannock Regional Jail on two counts of indecent liberties and one count of domestic assault. He’s being held without bond.

The father was not charged, and both children were taken to the hospital “to be evaluated for injuries,” according to the release.

The investigation is ongoing.

Story #2: Shotgun-wielding dad chases his daughter’s boyfriend into the woods, NC cops say

A 61-year-old man in North Carolina used a shotgun to run off his daughter’s boyfriend, the sheriff’s office said.

Now he’s in jail on a $100,000 bond.

Grady Zack Dunn was arrested Tuesday and charged with first-degree burglary and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, jail records show.

Dunn showed up at a house in Mebane, about 45 miles west of Raleigh, late Monday night, the Burlington Times-News reported.

His daughter met him on the porch — then he started yelling, according to CBS 17.

Citing the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office, the media outlet reported Dunn fired off a shot before forcing his way in the back door.

The daughter’s boyfriend told 911 operators he then fled through the front door and headed into the woods, according to the Mebane Enterprise.

“The caller stated he heard 2 more shots as he was running through the woods,” the newspaper reported. “There were no injuries.”

Deputies detained Dunn in the area a short time later, according to Fox 8. He was carrying a Remington Sportsman 48 16-gauge shotgun.

A dear Ole Pard of mine that some of you have met, called me last week. His across the road neighbor, who has been here twice, once to buy a Colt and again for me to work on another Colt, was the subject of the call. This Old Boy was about 6 feet tall and maybe 225. He is a full blooded Indian. He helped my Pard out occasionally on the farm and at his mountain retreat. My Pard said he could literally fix anything mechanical. I asked him if he was an Engineer and he replied ..No just ah Injun...
Seems his daughter called him about her husband slappin her around. The Injun gets in his truck and goes to her house to straighten out this fine fella with a few knots being drawn on his head. Wife beater goes to his bedroom and retrieves a rifle and Kills the Injun upon entering. DRT...Apparently this has been a recurring problem.
Now....if this had happened in Horry...there Might Possibly have been a trial but no conviction would have been had. Still in the Independent Republic of Horry, if you go to somebody else's property and get yersef Kilt because of bad intentions...everybody ends up goin back to tha house. We will see how the folks in @kcult's county handle these matters.

On the first story, he wouldn't have made it out of my house alive. He would have met with a very violent and brutal death. I guarantee you this wasn't his first time, but it would have been his last....

Second story, puppy love is a bitch....

1. Looks good compared to how I feel I would leave him.

2. Most of us probably deserved a good firing at a few times in our lives.

Some of us got it!

At the ripe age of 18 I caught the brunt of what was probably a .410 full of rock salt and gravel in my L butt cheek. We were leaving for far east asia in a few days and broke. Being the young, 10 feet tall and bulletproof members of Uncle Sam's Gun Club we thought it was a good idea to steal beer out of a shed next to convenience store in Cinquapin NC.

Not my brightest moment!!!!!

Luckily, some idiots survive their youthful indiscretions.

One time, the morning after a party, I heard "you're lucky I don't have my shotgun. why DON'T i have my shotgun? stay there, i'm getting my shotgun"
I did not stay there.
I hauled butt, jumped in my car, and burned rubber out of there. Some of the other guys thought it was funny and didn't realize the homeowner didn't want ANYBODY at his house - while I was the priority target, he was fine with taking shots at targets of opportunity. I heard later that just a moment after I left, some of the guys got their cars shot up.

Luckily, for sure. I almost got shot by my best friend's Dad when we were running from some guys when they (correctly, I must add) thought we were putting the moves on their girl friends. Sometimes I wonder how I survived until voting age.

Agreed on #1.

As for #2, I once looked at the muzzle of a shotgun held by a disappointed father of a young lady. He was of the opinion that I had kept his daughter out too late. I think the shotgun was a 12 gauge but it looked as big as a stovepipe when it was pointed at my face.

Should I feel guilty because I laughed when I heard his confession?

A California prison inmate confessed in a letter that he beat two child molesters to death with a cane while behind bars.
Prisoner David Bobb, 48, died that day. Graham De Luis-Conti, 62, died three days later at a hospital. Both were serving life sentences for aggravated sexual assault of a child under 14.
a child molester moved into the pod. Watson believed the man began taunting other inmates by watching children's television programming. Watson said in the letter he couldn't sleep that night “having not done what every instinct told me I should’ve done right then and there."
“I was mulling it all over when along came Molester #1 and he put his TV right on PBS Kids again,” he wrote, according to the newspaper chain. “But this time, someone else said something to the effect of ‘Is this guy really going to watch this right in front of us?’ and I recall saying, ‘I got this.’ And I picked up the cane and went to work on him.”
Watson said he then left the housing pod to find a guard and turn himself in, but on the way, he saw “a known child trafficker, and I figured I’d just do everybody a favor,” Watson wrote. “In for a penny, in for a pound.”
“Being a lifer, I’m in a unique position where I sometimes have access to these people and I have so little to lose,” Watson wrote. “And trust me, we get it, these people are every parents’ worst nightmare."

Can we make donations to his Canteen account?

I'm not really understanding what was going on in the shotgun story.

That's because journalists can't write and editors no longer exist.

In that story, there's a line that says, "Now he's in jail" where the previous paragraph refers to 2 different men...so, who's the "he"? Similar confusion carries on the rest of the way.

I cant believe the comments of the key board warriors. They have no clue of societal psychology and the fact that pedos regularly are killed by inmates.

I think there is a link with inmates and primal urges. It is a primal instinct to rid the herd of internal wolves. And you just seen it played out.
