Probably not gonna be the most popular pick for some - but I absolutely love the Kalashnikov KP-9 or KR-9
Here is why
1. Utterly reliable - shooting reloaded ammo or factory, steel brass and aluminum cases
2. Easy to work on - compatible fire control group with any standard AK / AKM, some other parts also interchangeable as well
3. Quality mags - yes they are proprietary but they work and KUSA runs specials on 5 packs all the time
4. Accurate out well past 100 yards

We use this in competitive events , even at rifle matches. At least 10K down the tube so far

Other PCCs that we own currently or have owned in order of how i rate them
Ruger PC carbine
PSA AR9
Kel Tec Sub 2K

Man, you just may have talked me into one!

Looks like it’ll have to be a rifle and not a pistol as; disappointing I’m not finding any of the pistols being offered with braces (esp when I have earlier this week seen S&W is back to marketing - and vendors advertising and shipping - their M&P15-22 pistols shipping WITH braces attached)

Hands down, the Ruger PCC (with M*CARBO mods).

I’ve observed two different Ruger PCC‘s / 2 different competitors in two different competitions (one Falling Steel and months later a 3-gun match) enough to now know they are NOT to be sneezed at! Extremely light, quick and ak-esque KISS … I should probably be looking at adding one of those before a Kalishnikov (which I REALLY want as a braced pistol!)

A man of fine taste I see. Much better on the aesthetics than a black Gen III Glock in similar garb.
I love the P80 ghost grey frames. They're a close match for Magpul stealth grey. I've got a whole set of P80s and ARs that all match up lol

Yeah I had planned on doing the same thing, but I waited too long.

They dropped the Robin's Egg Blue from the line up.

"Regret's....I've had a few...."
Depending on how light you want the blue you could dye a grey or fde frame. I've done a bunch of Rit dye stuff, I've got a red P80 that way.

Highly modified (M*Series) Sub2k is my favorite overall, but admittedly is not the most pleasant or smoothest to run, compared to CZ and Ruger 9mm options. CZ EVO would be the winner in that category.

I think so. How do you tell? I recently bought the one listed here and have maybe 100 rounds through it. I'm still searching for my "perfect/favorite". Still need to try/own a Stribog A3, Scorpion, and Extar, and maybe a @9-10"AR pistol...

So many guns, so little money.

GHM9c-G, with my R9 living on it. Tac driver. Love the Swiss and their attention to detail. Plus Glock mags are ubiquitous.

Theory question.

AR pistols are chambered in 223 and 300blk.
Ak pistols are chambered in 7.62x39 and 5.45x39.

ATF used the anti pistol armor piercing ammo law to block 5.45 surplus ammo and tried to do it to m855. As an aside, post Bruen, why has no one sued this?
ATF therefore considers 5.45, 7.62x39, 223 to be pistol ammo.

Would that make any AR or AK a PCC?

i shot a suppressed stribog sp9a3 and it was pretty darn pleasant. it's on my list now

I just ordered the new “Mini-Bog” w collapsible BRACE - under $1,100 via GunZoneDeal as I type this. only thing could make me giddier right now is if it took Glock sticks …. (and no doubt I’ll be sad - and will probably dive right back in - when they come out with that Glock mag version after I’ve broke this one in, haha!)

It will be interesting to compare it to our “Micro” Scorpion (just dropped the Timney v.2 3-lb trigger packs in both our Scorpions on Christmas Eve …)

Heck, you can get the folding BRACE version for under $900!!!!!!

IMO yes, 5.7 can definitely be called a pistol cartridge so that's a PCC. If course my opinion, given for free on the internet is only guaranteed to be worth the price 😜
Usually depends on which website you’re on looking for ammo. 🤣

It’s rarely listed under both, so you have to look until you find it.

Do LC’s count?? Ruger 5.7

Purty!

Q - how’s the trigger?

Asking as a bud has one for sale that I’ve not had a chance to look at yet but, the one I’ve have handled and dry fired the trigger was extremely disappointing (concerning almost) …. anyway, sooner or later, I need to move on it or get off the pot

Adding to the list I previously posted up thread, I’m going to pick this puppy up today!

DAVIDSON'S DISTRIBUTOR EXCLUSIVE

RUGER PC Carbine MAGPUL 9MM Rifle 17R FDE 19132

I am STILL waiting on GZD.com to ship my “Mini-Bog” and, I’d be worried except I’ve dealt with them so many times before and I reached out to em a couple times and they assure me the order, “hasn’t fallen through any crack - we got you covered”

If it was any other vendor I’d almost wondering if they took orders before they had items in their actual inventory. Ah well, first world problems.

Well. Had an issues with the trigger and had to send it back to ruger. the trigger bar was slipping off the hammer disconnect before releasing the hammer. turn around was impressive about a week and a half. Since receiving it back the trigger seems much improved over the original(before issue). Very little creep a nice crisp break. price On these is going up. I grabbed mine about a 1 1/2 years ago for 629.99. I think those days are gone.

Kel Tec Sub 2000. Nothing like the adventure of wondering if the polymer will hold up and not crack in half every time you pull the trigger. LOL. I'll never buy Kel Tec again. Crap.

And let's not forget the useless picatiny rail with the raised middle so you have to file the polymer flat to mount anything.
Huh? Which rail are you referring to? Mine works just fine.

That top rail has a hump in the middle where the 2 clam shells meet. In order to get a good, flat surface you have to file it down. Or you will NEVER hold zero or even close with any kind of QD mount. Which is kind of the point if you want to fold it. Unless you pop $150 on the Mcarbo folding mount.

But this is a favorite PCC thread, so let's not highjack it. I was just being sarcastic.
