WOT Wide Open Trigger on Big Daddy Unlimited

Hey I "almost" fell for a couple ammo scams this past year. Got to the payment and all the warning bells in my head kicked off saying You Fool back out.
The wrinkle here they steal a Members Identity so you have a false security it's a bonafide offer.
So if they get caught can we hang them twice for good measue.. I'm sure somebody else feels the same.

@Bigdave0924 Iā€™m headed down to Swansboro in 2 weeks. I could meet you around the I 40 and Hwy 24 intersection. To save you a trip up to Raleigh. Let me know if that works for you.

I can confirm that they do not bind like the Rare Breed did. All in all the trigger feels less polished than the Rare Breed. I donā€™t mean the trigger pull, I simply mean it feels a little rushed. The fit and finish are not as nice as the Rare Breed. You can see the cast mark in the center of the trigger. It is clean and smooth on the contact surfaces and hammer face. I tried to bind the carrier (like the Rare Breed do) and was unable to do so. The two I have, neither came with the anti rotational bars, but did come with anti walk pins. I am busy all day and am hoping to test it out late tonight or tomorrow. I have a lot of excitement about the design and hopeful it works good. I will let you know how they do. Before anyone asks, I cannot divulge who ordered these, I will ask him if he can order more, but it is highly unlikely at the moment.

(If these photos show up in a $150 for sale add, ban them immediatelyā€¦.haha)

I am in for a least one.

Does anyone know if they will work in a built AR-22 LR with a CMMG BCG?

Or a Colt Style 9mm SBR?

Thanks

Good question. Sure would be a lot cheaper feeding one of them lol.

It for sure will not work on a .22lr since itā€™s a rimfire blow back ā€¦ no reciprocating BCG

Now, the Colt style SBR 9mm has a different buffering setup and BCG so Iā€™m betting no there also.

A binary trigger is the ticket for 22lr. I have a Franklin Armory BFS 3 and it runs the same with 5.56 or my CMMG 22lr conversion. It doesn't have to rob energy from the bolt carrier to push your finger back forward like these designs do.

I must say I am impressed. This is the very first magazine fired in the same Mk18 that the Rare Breed didnā€™t like. This is with a standard H buffer. in a 100% stock rifle. This is even the later version that isnā€™t as overgassed. While the rare breed functioned, It took tuning it with an h2 buffer to remotely run reliably.

Noyce!
Howā€™s the trigger creep, grit, pull weight when firing single shots?

It is lighter than a lot of aftermarket triggers. There is slight creep but nothing terrible. There is no gritty feeling at all on mine. I will try to get a gauge on it and let you know what the weight is. Single shots are not a problem with this trigger, or not for me or the other guy who shot it.

Big Daddy Unlimited has many exciting new things in the works including exclusives like the new Wide Open Trigger that is taking the firearms industry by storm, and a monthly membership program for our preferred Partners (FFLs).

Let's dive right in!

You've heard of the binary and force-reset triggers, right? Of course you have!

Now, Big Daddy Unlimited is bringing you the first hard-reset trigger from Wide Open Trigger (WOT).

The WOT is the ultimate drop-in, "plug-and-play" replacement trigger for the AR-15 platform chambered in .223/5.56.*

The WOT delivers with an exceptionally smooth, crisp, creep-free trigger pull. No gunsmithing, fitting, or adjusting is required. Just drop it in and go!

Even better? The WOT is made to resist the wear and tear that other triggers canā€™t live up to. Pin walkout? Nope! Itā€™s not an issue with a proprietary design that uses a patent-pending spring carrier and comes with anti-walk pins.

*We recommend a qualified gunsmith if the WOT is installed in AR-15 platforms not chambered in .223/5.56 (i.e. 300 BLK or 9mm).

Patent-Pending Spring Carrier
The Wide Open Trigger (WOT) is a two-stage, hard-reset trigger that allows the user the ability to shoot faster, while still allowing only one single shot per trigger pull.

The trigger is designed to shorten the length and time a trigger needs to reset itself, by using the elastic energy of the patent-pending spring carrier. When compressed, the spring carrier forces the trigger into a neutral or reset position.

Hardoxā„¢ Steel
The WOT has a patent-pending spring-locking bar that makes the trigger unique. The triggerā€™s hammer is reinforced with Hardoxā„¢ steel, which due to its toughness, copes with shocks, jolts, bangs, nicks, and jabs day after day.

This material allows the WOT to take the constant beating of the bolt carrier group (BCG) as it cycles back and forth in an AR-15 rifle or pistol.

Recommendations
For the WOT to perform properly, an M16 bolt carrier and a standard H2 or H3 buffer is required.

Take my money!

im in for group buy.
One of our FFL members needs to become a dealer so he can sell them (and deliver at shows for ca$h sales). We have at least one who does about all the major shows and we know heā€™s good for it so we can front the cash and not worry ā€¦ @cubrock hint hint!

Shows Page Is Gone.............
maybe you guys waited too long. maybe i just sent him a message and he said he can still try to hook you guys up with a week lead.
either way, i'll never know because i wouldn't get one.

The more I think about it, if theyā€™re gonna make this a MG and if Iā€™m willing to risk having an unregistered MG, then I should just make or acquire an unregistered MG and skip the games. FWIW, itā€™s not worth the risk to me.

They killed bump stocks, and there were hundreds of thousands of those. They are after braces and there are millions of those. Theyā€™ll kill these forced reset triggers off easy if they want, there are maybe thousands of them in the wild.

Iā€™m thinking about inventing a glove with a bionic finger. Good control of speed and length of stroke. Market it as a marital aid. Lets see them come after that.

if people are interested, i can order some or a lot :)
Since youā€™re an established vendor, I think we should all go through you. Let me know where to send the money. I think a lot of people want the be anonymous I donā€™t know what you can offer for these people but I just want the trigger donā€™t really care who knows.
