Yup. you beat me to it.10mm, you say?
i found that while i was searching for a 30 rounder that might fit in the buttstockFriends don't let friends use Promag.
Most of the sub2k aftermarket support is to fix problems that the S&W addressed: optic mounting, charging handle, m-lok slotsā¦Gonna need a lot of aftermarket support for that to overtake the sub2k.
Video reviews it looks pretty tight between the charging handle (?) And the 23 round mags. Hopefully s&w isn't that dumb that a 30 won't work, or a 34 to one up Glock.i found that while i was searching for a 30 rounder that might fit in the buttstock
Like an AR, the most popular rifle in the country? yup, thatās a brain teaserā¦The folding is an improvement over the keltec because of the optics issue but I can't, for the life of me, understand why they would reuse that stupid rear-charging design.
Well sure, not that the AR charging handle is ideal, but if they were following that model why not an AR style thumb safety?Like an AR, the most popular rifle in the country? yup, thatās a brain teaserā¦
Kinda looks like one of them Glock Macaronis.
To big or too small goldielocks?
That is a long LOP for a folding carbine.
Right in the ballpark then. With a folding concept you need to use all that 16ā to cram all the components in so it makes sense where they got to where they are.Sub 2K 13.25ā³ ā 14.5"
It's really ugly, but $600 street price at PSA right now and it takes m&p mags. I feel like it's a direct competition to the sub2k and being able to keep an optic on is a better design.

The aftermarket of most firearms is to fix their shortcomings. Or at least perceived shortcomingsMost of the sub2k aftermarket support is to fix problems that the S&W addressed: optic mounting, charging handle, m-lok slotsā¦
I think once you fix those issues with aftermarket with parts the Sub2k will be more expensive
You make good points. It's an inch longer than an M16A2's LOP.
It's a 1/2 inch longer than a 870's LOP.
It's got a LOP similar to a goose or trap gun which is a total 180 for what is the role of a PDW.
Doesn't even take in possibility of armor/LBE/clothing.
It's a hard pass until the 2.0 version with adjustable stock.
It doesn't take Glock mags and is in 9mm. That's shooting one foot off before you started the race.I feel like this thing is going to be about as successful as the M&P12, so not very.
I donāt understand why everyone is discrediting M&P mags. Theyāre not as prolific as Grock mags, but thereās a lot of them out there. As a non-Grock fanboi (and full-on M&Pee fanboi), this thing is very attractive. And thatās me saying that after just denouncing the PCC idea this very weekend. It doesn't take Glock mags and is in 9mm. That's shooting one foot off before you started the race.
That's fine, but consider the size of the Glock landscape (clones, 80% stuff etc etc) and the size of the M&P community. The difference is vast. I get they want to be boosters for their own product line, but there's a reason almost everything goes for Glock mag compatibility.I donāt understand why everyone is discrediting M&P mags. There's a pretty steep drop-off after first place.Anything other than 9mm is either a dying boomer caliber(40S&W or 45 ACP) or a reddit meme caliber(10mm?).
M&Ps aren't as common as they used to be but are probably the third most common polymer handgun in NC after Glock and Sig. At least that's my guess.
Must be a QC thing. First 10 seconds of the tfb tv video he charges on one side only.He mentions you need to grab both sides to charge the thing.
But sig sucks and police agencies are getting shot by them and are quickly being replaced. I'd be surprised if m&p wasn't #2 if military contracts were removed. We rarely ever see military surplus guns hit civ market. There's a pretty steep drop-off after first place.

You have to remember this cuts both ways. Some 18 year old is going to buy this and when he turns 21 guess what pistol he is going to buy? That's fine, but consider the size of the Glock landscape (clones, 80% stuff etc etc) and the size of the M&P community. Once you set aside issued duty weapons the M&P isn't even close in market share and this thing isn't aimed at cops.

You also have people who donāt own 10 glocks but need a truck gun. They buy this, trade their G19 in for a M&P 9 2.0 and move on with their life.
The reason Glock was popular was because of the Pistol not the mags. Glock has not innovated in decades. I am a prime example, bought a 43X hated it, sold that and traded my G26 in for a P365X and never looked back.
Can I get an AMEN! brother?
I don't think it's Glock keeping the Glock ecosystem valid right now, it's all the third party manufacturers making them disposably cheap and infinitely configurable (outside of the basics of frame size and action). You have to remember this cuts both ways.
