Apparently @Qball needs some themhttp://bugguide.net/node/view/6763
A interesting wasp. I like spiders ( I know I'm a freak ) but I like watching nature
Looks like one. They've built numerous nests at my dad's house. Those mud tubes are a pain to remove, especially when they are built on rough brick walls.Dirt dobber?
They use to build nest all over the light bar of our ladder truck at the fire deapartment. It was tough to get them off of that.Looks like one. They've built numerous nests at my dad's house. Those mud tubes are a pain to remove, especially when they are built on rough brick walls.

Damn I was focused on the pic and not the link. ThanksSpider wasp according to the link above.
He could charge admission.A bald eagle couldn't handle Dave's spiders.
What they do to spiders is pretty badAnd apparently so does this little bastage. I was really torn on killing it as well, but figured my hatred of spiders was greater than my wanting to kill the wasp.

After my summer project of building a roof over my camper, the scrap pile was pretty good size. I started burning it. Almost every piece of wood that I picked up had at least one Black Widow on it. I had to start wearing gloves. I finally said screw it and set it on fire where it was!Used to get black widows at my place in CA. I practically bought out the Home Depot poison department weekly. Years from now that house will be declared a permanent hazardous waste site. But nobody ever got bit by a spider so it is all good.

I don't like them much because if you walk under a tree in the dark at my place, chances are you're going to end up with it on your face.
Had one build from one wall, to the other, in a trailer that I lived in.
And was in my bedroom. Right in the middle of the firkin bed!!!!!!
I woke, and sat up right into my face from a dead sleep.
I almost made another door.
Call in the dark side!I'd have had to burn the place down. Its the only way to be sure its dead.
I always liked the little jumping spiders that run around the window sills catching flies. They look up at you like a dog. Cheap entertainment, like internet forums.
Bullshit...those are little demon bastards. If they were the size of chihuahuas,we'd all be spider crap.Lol Ive always like those little jumping spiders too. If u put ur hand near them, theyll look up at it and then sometimes jump onto it. Curious friendly spiders they are.

I always found it funny how some many "bad-asses" are skeered of little critters. I know a guy that's scared of frogs and toads. I wonder how many of you gun-toting macho guys will jump up on the furniture the moment someone hollers "MOUSE"!
Ever been bit by a brown recluse? If not, I'll tell ya, it SUCKS. Spiders don't scare me, I would rather just spray them with fire from a good distance.

cottonmouth spiders????I was bitten by a cottonmouth one time. Does that count?

This would be your Spider Snake. And I've seen what it can do to you. And that's a NOPE.cottonmouth spiders????
Have the 2 nastiest things on earth began breeding with each other now???

I don't mind spiders as long as they stay outside. I can't stand their webs hanging on ceilings, furniture, lamp shades... all over the inside of the house. Our exterminator loves us. I call them to come spray if I am forced to knock down more than two webs in a week's time.
