I’d hope you could find somebody here on CFF that’s local to you and would help you assemble a lower without even having to buy tools. If you were local to me, I’d be glad to help.

The first AR I ever shot was one I built the lower for. It was actually an SBR. Yes, I owned an AR-15 SBR before ever owning a non-NFA rifle of any kind.

I built mine using the info found on Brownell’s website. I printed out the docs, and had them handy while watching the videos. Sections 7 & 8 cover most of what you need, but spend some time watching all of it.
