I have a life size stand up poster of the Rock in my garage, just saying. Most impressive thing I ever seen was get within 6’ of the Big Show. Human beings should not be that big. He would make @1911gobang look average size😁

Ha, Im wrapping up that episode right now
i watched Roddy Piper yesterday, was ok.
So far Stone Cold is the best one of these
This one (Savage) is 2nd.

Lots of these guys havent aged well, they wrecked their bodies for years and now, well, here they are.
 
Just watched Booker T - I really liked that one. Maybe because its got a good ending

I absolutely love the fact their first WCW outfits came from Brooks & Dunn shirts!! 🤣
 
I wrestled in High School from 84-88.

Grew up watching wrasslin with my Grandpa.

I've watched all 4 episodes and the other show where they look for memorabilia. Enjoyed them all as well as the memories.

(Don't forget about Johnny Weaver with the "Sleeper" and Blackjack Mulligan and Baron Von Rashke with the "Claw"!)
 
Shaun Michaels one is pretty good.
Again, it's intersting seeing some behind the scenes into this world that I dont know much about

I enjoyed it also. Never knew his wife was the positive influence in his change.

Next week is the Ultimate Warrior! Should be interesting.

How could I forget the Baron and the most awesome move in wrestling. Can't tell you how many times I "clawed" my younger brother.
 
Hmmm…

Didn’t remember Sting and Ultimate Warrior being a tag team way back before those characters were created.
 
I once was friends with a guy who wrestled in NWA. He was tall and lanky until he shot up steroids and lifted. He was always the guy who got beat up by a brand wrestler. Went by last name Cruz. Very little pay for losing.

Watched the UW one a couple days ago (Tuesday?)...wouldnt you know, dang window opened and some dust blew in my eye there at the end...
Whew, what a heart wrencher, his wife's tale of how it all ended.

I 'knew' of him, but didnt know a thing about him. Seeing all that energy was pretty cool on the biography show, dude was super hyped when he entered.

Next week is Foley, THAT one Im stoked to see!

I watched it yesterday. WOW, what a guy! I really liked him, espeically the end and the dressing up.
HIs attitude throughout his life, not just a late-in-life transformation, has been positive and I totally dig it.
I think I'll go pick up his book.

Don’t know if you’re also watching the Wanted series about getting collectibles, but the one that aired this week had part of Jake the Snake’s story…which was definitely a little sad, with a decent ending.

No, I havent been watching it, didnt seem that interesting to me.
I'd love to hear his story, I like hearing all of these guys' stories, their lifestyles are very different than us normal folks

But Foley, he really destroyed his body to make sure his fans were happy and to make sure his KIDS were taken care of. What a guy.
That tooth in the nose...thought the gf was about to lose it!
