Yeah, I glossed over the embezzlement that was unrelated to the firearms. I used to audit the expenses of corporate executives specifically looking for this kind of stuff. Found it all the time, but it was 99% just dumb stuff that the executive paid back, there was rarely intentional misconduct. It’s easy not to record your mileage correctly, or to buy a dinner on the company credit carc but not write down why it was a business expense. Don’t know if this guys was doing things intentionally or not, but since he’s spending taxpayer money he should be help accountable.
