I put a washer on top of the spring and it’s working fine for now lolThey are usually pretty quick about sending out parts. If i break a small plastic part i always ask for two. That way i have a spare and can keep reloading.
That notch/slot is just too small relative to the diameter of the sleeve.
Are you trying to force the sleeve through the slot? The rod goes through the slot, and the sleeve enters the hole from the bottom.
I’ve a ‘99 550 and I couldn’t figure out what was being referenced until I saw your pic.Yep, I've broken two to date and just run with it broken now. I've broken both of mine when I was removing the powder measure to swap charge bars. That notch/slot is just too small relative to the diameter of the sleeve.

Also, for any Dillon owners reading this thread, this little LED lamp is a perfect match to Dillon Blue and easily attaches:

Just curious, what material is that? Both my 650s have a similar, but taller, white plastic piece.I’ve a ‘99 550 and I couldn’t figure out what was being referenced until I saw your pic.
This shouldered washer is 21 years old.

No idea, other than plastic. It's the original Dillon spacer.Just curious, what material is that? Both my 650s have a similar, but taller, white plastic piece.
They sent me 3 extra! I have them already but I greatly appreciate the offerI have a spare but am in CLT. Let me know if yours takes too long to come in and we can figure something out.
I'm running a Dillon 550 and always keep that spare parts bag on hand. I think it was like $25 and contains many of the small breakable parts.
