Anybody Interested???

As long as you’re doing it, pistols at 150?
Jus' choot pistols at 300, too!
At 300 if time allows. Again, with witnesses I have 4 hits in 12 rounds on the gas cylinder at 300. That was with a 2 inch 45 acp. It's really Not that difficult once you" find "it.

Get your rifles ready and show up ready to go. You will have as long as is reasonably possible to shoot your 5 shots.

So no practice/sight-in time? I think I have a 10/22 with irons but haven't shot it in 10 years. Would need to get reacquainted with it...

1. I'm going to assume that "show up ready to go" has a time factor built in for me to get my legs back under me?

2. Is that "reasonably possible" for people of my [and your!] age, or for people of, say, @Butter 's age?

Always our age...we can't handicap ourselves too much to folks of @Butter's ability.

Curve the bullet. :)
From what little I understand about these distances, it's going to curve itself as it goes up and then back down in a big ol' arc. lol.

Looking forward to watching the rifle guys do this one! I'm sure to learn something, both by watching and by doing.

Well, I may not be able to make the shoot. I confirmed that I have a conflict. I talked to @BatteryOaksBilly and told him about it.
He wanted to postpone the shoot, but so many have already signed on that I didn't want to do that because of me.
If my situation changes, I'll be there. I was really looking forward to it. :(

I was looking forward to seeing you......hope things can work out and you can be there.

Well given my current situation down here in Florida I may not be able to make it either. I'll know more early next week...

ATTENTION PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After consideration RS and I have decided to take a different position.....
This is way more than I can do by myself and since the other participants are traveling long distances, it is too much to ask of them.
We are going to treat this exactly like we do the Wizard..if you are here and want to try a 300 yard shot on a man sized target with Anything you will be free to do so. Really, it's been that way all along.
I promised J. Noble Daggett no more Large shooting meets and that's what we'll do.
So, ya'll load up and come on Anytime not just 6 June. We'll visit, shoot and probably eat something good along the way. This will allow visitors that want to try this to have all the time they need to "Dial In", shoot and enjoy some rockin chair time also.

Got a good bunch here today...@Stick Man is arriving at 9 for breakfast and then @Millie and @303hunter and Tommie later. See Ya'll soon!!!!

I think this is both reasonable and prudent, so I assume that @RS did the thinking on this. :D

I hope to see y'all soon. I have a few conversations in my fevered little brain that need conversatin' ...

Sorry Billy, I feel like the monkey wrench that jammed it up. :(

I think it had been decided ages ago not to have any huge meetings again, but a lot more little ones. This just follows the new pattern, that's all.....right, Billy?

This way nobody has to miss the chance to shoot in any "contest"......and newbies like me don't have to be seen by lots of people as we struggle to get the rounds from a rifle anywhere near 300 yards, hopefully not dumping them all in the lake! Win-win, I say. lol.

Wellllllll, @Stick Man hit the steel B27 19 times today at 300 yards. From 1 PM on you can't see Shiite down there. @Button Pusher just left for the 3 1/2 hour ride home. @Millie , @303hunter and Tommie left 1/2 hour ago. Tommie finished on a good note as did @Millie . Both using a flash sight picture to wear Out the Hostage target.
A full day for me. Won't be long til I blow out the lamp and fold up for the evening.
Ya'll stay healthy and come see us if you get this way!!!

@Stick Man was showing off, huh? I figured when he said he wanted to try the 300 yard challenge, I knew he would do good.

Thanks, it was very cool. As I told all in attendance today, that was the farthest I've ever shot anything...... EVER. As always, BIG thank you to @BatteryOaksBilly, & @RS for having me over again. It's always a pleasure to be around them, and to shoot with @Millie, @Button Pusher, @303hunter, and his wonderful bride @Tommiegirl. Today was fun for sure.

Young eyes makes it a little easier to hit the target....
In all honesty, I couldn't even see the target. I knew where it was, and just aimed in that general direction, and found it, lol. Wait, that can kinda sums up a few things at times in life huh, hahaha.

I couldn’t figure out how to strap my rifle to the bike, so me and Tommiegirl stuck to the pistols today. We sat on the porch of the bunkhouse with @RS, and @BatteryOaksBilly and watched @Stick Man kill it!

The breeze and shade on the porch had us talking of putting up a hammock! It did feel good to sit there and take in nature. Battery Oaks is a special place!

I've been reviewing my videos of the 300 yard shot and @Button Pusher dinged something while we were over there. Not sure which of the 3 targets it was. I heard something hit.....nice work! We gave all the glory to You-Know-Who....but my Raleigh shooting buddy hit it too. LOL.
