Anyone in WNC have a 300 Blackout - Go/No-Go Gauge I could use?

The title says it all. I would like to avoid spending the 75 bucks to use them one time. If anyone close by has a set I could use that would be great. If not I guess I'll have to suck it up and buy one.

It’s a 10.3 inch. Not planning on reloading at the moment. We will see in the future

I believe he's talking about a chamber headspace gauge set and not a cartridge gauge.

He does not have one, sorry. He said he just goes to his LGS who puts them together and buys them whole.

If it's an AR platform the headspace is set when the barrel extension/chamber is spun on the barrel. Unless you're an idiot ( like me ) and somehow manage to spin that extension off the barrel, there is almost nothing you can do to to impact headspace.

I thought checking the headspace was more about checking that the parts you purchased are in spec. I guess they can be off sometimes?

you'll know if the parts are in spec when you go to chamber your first round.

given that its a BA barrel and toolcraft bolt you will likely have no problems.

is it best practice to check head space? sure. is it absolutely necessary? no.
