The title says it all. I would like to avoid spending the 75 bucks to use them one time. If anyone close by has a set I could use that would be great. If not I guess I'll have to suck it up and buy one.

Thanks in advance!

No one? I know one of you has built a 300 blackout!

I haven't built one yet, not really sure I wanna add that caliber. One of my co-workers has a few, I'll ask him if I can borrow his, if he has one.

If I had one I'd loan it to you. What barrel length are you going to run?

Are you planning to reload? It's the only affordable way to shoot it.

Sweet! Should be a 5 minute “It’s up to spec or it isn’t” kind of deal. Hopefully he has one. Thanks!

If you were closer, you'd be welcome to borrow it. Holly Springs is a bit far, but if you're headed this way bring your ammo.

He does not have one, sorry. He said he just goes to his LGS who puts them together and buys them whole.

If it's an AR platform the headspace is set when the barrel extension/chamber is spun on the barrel. Unless you're an idiot ( like me ) and somehow manage to spin that extension off the barrel, there is almost nothing you can do to to impact headspace.

I thought checking the headspace was more about checking that the parts you purchased are in spec. I guess they can be off sometimes?

Let me know when you get that thing together and you're ready to shoot it.
