Got an early morning session in at Leeds today and had a malfunction I've never seen before. I was shooting my CMMG Banshee radial delayed AR9 and it was failing to return to battery, tried forward assist to no avail. Realized the bolt was not seating in the barrel extension. After doing some troubleshooting I realized A spent casing somehow turned upside down and lodged itself above the bolt carrier group between the carrier key and the charging handle lug. I was eventually able to get it out with some needle nose pliers and a pick, but it was lodged in there pretty solid. Anyone run into this before? Afterwards I dumped a 30 rd mag full down range and it performed without issue, so seemingly no damage or reoccurrence, but very strange nonetheless
