bucket list guns

I want a lever gun. I've had the pleasure of shooting just one and that was recently

A guy at the range let me shoot his 22 Magnum...sweet.

I'd like one of those or either a 357 mag/38 spcl

I doubt I'll ever own one, they have become pricey.

Went to the gun show today in Murder Beach. We were sitting around and I told the other men that there wasn't a thing in the building that even mildly interested me that I hadn't owned. I recently sold a Bunch. Some that would be irreplaceable in a decade...Triple Locks, Registered Magnums. Pre numbered series guns, SAAs, Pythons, Government models and guns owned and featured in magazines...A few things that I never got that I Had interest in...a Walther TPH in .25...honestly tonight I can't think of another thing.....had them all, shot them all sold or traded them off...been quite a party..

“I can’t own all of them; but I can own them all, once.”

I have a few bucket list guns

HK MK.23
HK PSG1
Korth PRS 6"
500 bushwhacker bfr or Thompson Encore.
Smith and Wesson model 3 Russian
Russian contract Winchester model 1895

An As Val or VSS chambered in 9x39. Slagga mfg has supposedly been trying to manufacture one but it's been a while since a hopeful update.
As someone who was "in the know" on that project, I'll say this. The guns were being built off of demilled blankfire guns that were being imported from Russia. Slagga was rewelding them, rebarreling them, and machining new bolts/suppressors to finish the build. Not only have the AS-VAL and VSS blankfire rifles largely stopped being sold in Russia (not many were made to begin with, as they were built off off retired military rifles), but additionally many of the "private exporters" that could get them have stopped shipping things to the US since the start of the Ukraine conflict. The project is dead and anyone who paid them for one has been refunded afaik.

For me, these are the current cream-of-the-crop premium guns I can't afford right now but do one day want. :)

Rifle: Some sort of custom high-end precision long range rifle in a substantial caliber for mile-long shooting, current thought is 300 Norma Magnum. Probably with a Vortex Razor Gen 3 6-36x in a Spuhr mount.
Pistol: Atlas Gunworks open division 2011, something like the Erebus
Shotgun: Langdon Tactical Beretta 1301

Preach. Its also funny how guns come and go off the radar. We currently have a Lee-Enfield cutaway trainer at the shop. I've never really cared about 303 British or Lee-Enfield's (if anything way...way down the list) but for some reason I want this one. $500 bills though for a non functioning cutaway gun to just hang on the wall unfortunately isn't anywhere in the realm of sanity till I hit that lottery money. Happy collecting to us all. Cheers

lol I thought I remembered seeing this post just a few days before I bought that thing. Couldn’t say no.

damn didn't know that, do you think once the conflict is over they might resume?

Highly doubt it. They stopped producing VSS blankfire guns after just a couple hundred units instead of the thousands they initially planned to. All of them were built off of retired guns with shot out bores. They stopped retiring them and began rebarreling them instead. Factor in sanctions and the recent crackdown on "private exporters", and things look bleak for the project. I wouldn't get my hopes up in the slightest.

I was bidding on two of my bucket list guns, so didn't want to mention them till the auctions were over. :p

First, the Lionheart LH9C in black/green.
I've always wanted a S&W 3rd gen pistol. I have a Daewoo K2. Then I found out the Daewoo DP51 is a S&W 3rd gen with a funky double action+, and my intrest was kindled.
Lionheart imported some with fun modernizations back in 2013. Had to get it.
I've always loved the Walther P99 AS, with its cool AS trigger that's light, but long. The LH9 is like that, after cocking it, you push the hammer forward, and you get a light yet long trigger, super cool.

I also got a Sig 556 Classic. Slowly, I'll convert it to be closer to the Sig 551.
