Look for a PM
Anyone within an hour’s drive have a sight pusher that I can use on my M&P9 front sight TODAY? I borrowed 2 MGW glock tools from a friend but they won’t work on my M&P.
@JimB @Bailey Boat ??
Sorry to hear that. Classic case of people having little respect for other's belongings.i loaned a post hole digger it came back covered in dry cement, last time
Let's bring this thread on into 2019:
I would like to swap out the sights on my M&P. And maybe do some trigger work too.
I don't have the equipment/tools needed, or any experience with this kind of work.
I don't like paying somebody to do something I can do myself, I will if I have to, but I'd like to learn to do this myself.
If anyone would be interested in assisting/helping/guiding/overseeing me with this, I am willing to drive to you (within reason) to eliminate the whole "loaning" thing. I live near Smithfield so "within reason" is maybe an hour or so.
Or if someone wanted to loan me the equipment, I will attempt it on my own.
Would gladly pay for the use of the equipment and your time.
I would hope that all on here would acknowledge any damage that would occur while borrowing someone’s tools and offer to make right. Tools get scratched and such but if you are returning an extension cord all twisted up and don’t say a thing you are a jackbutt!I loaned out my extention cable to a friend that had a couple guys fixing some siding a roofing. He goves me back my cable; it was like someone had attached it to drill and spun it untill the twist was so tight it would never in a million years come out. To this day I can't figure out how the hell you can even do that on a job in one day. If you have an idea I would love to hear it. He didn't say sorry or even acknowledge there was anything different about the cable I loaned him that morning.
Never used a dumpling jig, just test fire to confirm alignment, remove one screw, dimple, reinstall screw, remove other screw, dimple, and reinstall. Done.Does anyone have a .750 Gas Block dimpling jig?
I need to dimple a new BA barrel
I'll loan out my brother-in-law and y'all can keep him. He's a complete and total tool.
LOL...
If you have sights plural I can cut you a deal.I’d borrow a sight pusher...local smith would probably charge me 20 to 40. I gotta drift some sights.
I see a mountain of customer destroyed sights from punches.Can someone explain to me when a sight pusher became something other than a brass punch, and why? Maybe I need understand why I should be using one.
