Of course if the homeowner had shot a cop trespassing in his apartment, the PD would likely have razed the building with everyone inside. Protected classes aren't held to the same standards as us after all.

Everybody calm down.

She obviously feared for her life after unlawfully entering the home of another person, failing to recognize she was in the wrong home, and probably was dealing with a man that wouldn't follow her commands when he discovered she had broken into his own home.

If he didn't want to get shot, he shouldn't have broken the, uhm, I mean, he should have done what she said when she broke into his home early in the morning.

Makes me sick. Y'all mourning for the guy who died.....don't you know this female officer will have to deal with this for the rest of her life! She's the real victim here!

I can't believe y'all are so anti-cop....makes my head spin.

Oh, I was in the wrong apt and saw this guy cooking supper ... bang.
But I thought it was my apartment.

Guns are definitely not for everyone.

I would say that the reason you only hear this stuff is they rarely do follow up stories. I personally think there is more to this story and it might take more than 18-24 hours to figure it out and properly charge it.
 
I'm SURE that if it had been any of us and we went into the wrong home, shot & killed the homeowner - we'd now be on "administrative leave". RRRRRRIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGHHHHHHT.
 
The truth here doesn’t matter ... a LEO shot a 28 year old black man in his own apartment. There will protests from every race spewing group from BLM to Al Sharpton to Shelia Jackson/Maxine Waters. The whole thing will go from what looks to me like a LEO making a major error and an innocent man died to the Police are killing black men.

While the officer’s identity and information haven’t been released I hope she is not white ... at least that would take the race card out of the deck for various groups to play.

Well of she is a white, republican, Christian that knows anyone named Trump at least we'll be able to speed up the civil war thing a little bit. Always a bright side. Go but mo ammo.

No, this will be summarily ignored or dropped pretty quick by all parties. It does not fit the narrative those groups push the hardest. When is the last time you saw those groups and the news make national headlines or riots for an innocent black man shot by LE? Pay closer attention. It's incredibly rare that it gets more than local attention. While the criminals shot justifiably get national coverage and riots. Personally, it makes so little sense to me I pretty much summarily ignore most of what they say. They pick the wrong side far more than they pick the right side.

We owe our brave, noble, pure, steadfast and diligent police the benefit of the doubt! Sure, she trespassed in some guys home, failed to notice the furniture, decor and address were different and then shot him down, but everyone makes mistakes.

Or, you know, probably committed murder and came up with some BS excuse for how it was an "accident" knowing they're part of a protected class whose crimes are typically swept under the rug. Either or.
