Swing out cylinder, 9 round 22 lr/ mag, double action that looks like most single actions.
The wrangler has zinc in it. Its a cheap "toy". If you want steel then you got to pay more.A "zinc" handle and frame? I wanna see a drop test.
Got both. Still prefer the sidekick. More shots and can change calibers. Plus swing out cylinder and da/sa. I even sold my wranglers. That's how much I prefer it.Do you have the Ruger Wrangler so you can do a side by side test?
I would say yes. The quality is miles apart. Finally starting to see Sidekicks around, some still trying to get 399 though which ain’t happening. But… saw a used w/box Rough Rider for $125. Add a Mag cylinder and it’s $155 total. Want a 22WMR for snake shot. Love the 9 rounds, swing out cylinder and transfer bar safety… but is it worth 2x even at MAP? I can’t quite decide.
Interesting. I was unimpressed with the cerakote, it was overly thick and it orange peeled a little bit near the barrel / receiver connection. But I didn’t really get to play with the action as it was still new in the box and had its safety flag etc.I would say yes. The quality is miles apart.
No issues on mine. Now the heritage will peel at some pointInteresting.
