We miss you Ole Pard.....
Yes, and I cannot believe that you get me get away from there without taking a picture of the new target. We tried 3 new targets today. One weighs over 100 pounds and is a Manly Target. 7 visitors today. Brownies and ice cream for the lot.
You should have stopped by. It was GREAT!Hmmmm, I didn't get the memo.
Since the carrier pigeon missed me, I ran a couple boxes thru the 66 at 25 yards, DA. I’m getting to the point where at least half my shots actually do hit the side of the barn. You should have stopped by. It was GREAT!
Hard to over exaggerate this caliber. They are amazing. 190s at 1,900 fps and 110s at over 3,000.
Finally had time to go to TSA in Raleigh this morning, tried my used Beretta 85F used police trade, shoots nice.
Swapped the barrel on my Beretta M9 22LR with a factory threaded one, shoots sweet with my Sparrow suppressor
and ran some more rounds in my Sig Mosquito also suppressed.
Been using the Winchester .22lr I won four years ago Friends NRA raffle but today I ran CCI minimag, I do clean it every 400 rounds.Hey BP, how do you like your Sig Mosquito? I like mine a lot, feels real good in my hand, is accurate, but is quite picky with ammo. Only 40 gr or greater, high velocity (1200 fps or higher). Actually it likes Remington Thunderbolt. What about yours?
I hope she likes the p365. I also tried one, but it was a bit too light for me, and too lively. If she has big strong hands she might love it. I wanted it to work for me, but....nope! It's a nice gun....maybe if my hands get stronger?Yes indeed.
A couple hundred rounds of 9mm. 100+ 45.
And I rented a Sig P365 and put 50 rounds through it. Nice. I like it. Shot decent groups at 10 yards too.
I'll have my wife try it too.

That's why I'm glad Calibers for it in for a rental. She can also try a Glock 42 .380.I hope she likes the p365. I also tried one, but it was a bit too light for me, and too lively. I also tried a Glock 19 and a 42....skinny grips, too snappy for me, not comfortable at all. When I ran across the p238, it was perfect for me! I hope she can find one that's as perfect for her. That's why I'm glad Calibers for it in for a rental. She can also try a Glock 42 .380.

Well, I did manage to get a photo of one of the new targets. The white center is spring loaded to come back upright when hit.Yes, and I cannot believe that you get me get away from there without taking a picture of the new target.
I most certainly did!
Today I got hold of my very own, first 1911, the RIA in 9mm. I took it to the range (though it's a zoo on Saturdays) and gave it a bit of a workout with 200 rounds. It was hard to get the last 3 rounds in the magazine, but I managed and I suppose the spring will loosen up a bit eventually.
This gun is nice to shoot, and makes a big boom. I love the fat grip, and the heaviness of it. It wasn't my best shooting, but I did get some in the center of the target. Lol. I had fun, and I'm happy.
I hope it starts to heal up fast!Nope, still waiting on getting the stitches out of my right hand. Not healing like it should.
You have another new one? Alright!I most certainly did!

Yes, they seem to be flocking to me, don't they? Next range trip will be 3 guns, not 2....it's kind of crazy! I need a bigger bag to carry all my stuff now!You have another new one? Alright!

Good for you! A 1911 in 9mm is a great addition to the "family".Yes, they seem to be flocking to me, don't they? Next range trip will be 3 guns, not 2....it's kind of crazy! I need a bigger bag to carry all my stuff now!
What range is this @Patriot?Late post- range fun last Thursday. Steel targets and ran the new Rem V3 Tac 13 for the first time, a keeper. Being retired, I like the range on Thursdays - no one was at the steel range, it was great. The RO jokingly said you have your own private range...he was on point.
A great day.
