Depends on the definition of "spam" and who defines it. Analogous to folks who claim to fight "fascism" and use oppression to spread their message, some will cry "spam" while selling anything and anyone TO anyone...
 
Guys we know we don't normally have threads like this discussing the past or other forums. No one here is bashing anyone or any certain place. With current events the way they are, expect them to be talked about for awhile. It's human nature. Things will settle down soon and all of our new members will realize they have found a new home. No need to report this thread because we keep harping about letting the past go. Times, they are a changing, and expect people to discuss them.

Whenever you get ready to discuss it, (Trinity Doctrine), please include me. I tend to swim against the current on this one.
 
While it is truly sad over there now, it was always about the good folks that made it special. Any place can be special with the right folks.

There no sense harping on it or looking back. I'm glad that I was welcomed here and will treasure the memories of that forum.

I've had a membership there for a few years, but I was always very inactive because there was so little actual 2A related content.

I posted this and there has been no response, it is obvious someone kidnapped Burt, and possibly holding him ransom. I'm leaving the driveway now headed that way. Keep me posted on status.
 
I came over in the mass exodus. Someone posted a descrambler that worked very well and revealed this sites name. I enjoyed the people who were at NCGO and they helped me a lot on purchasing decisions so I did not make as many rookie mistakes.
I hope they all come over here and settle in as I am trying too.

Thanks for joining up with us and I trust you'll enjoy the great people here that go out of their way to help many fellow shooters make informed decisions. They have really been great in helping me over the years and I try to pay that forward by helping others as well. That is what makes us tick here.

Please assist any other shooters in joining up with us also as we continue our growth as an internet hangout for those who enjoy the format here and don't mind helping others.

No offense but you’ve been a member for over 3 years and have less than 300 posts. You’ve got some catching up to do if you think it’s slow around here.

ETA: Let me elaborate, we have new members signing up literally everyday, new topics for discussion are posted literally everyday. Not just bumps in for sale ads like the other place. Sure we argue amongst ourselves but in the end we’ve all got each other’s backs and the members here have proven that time and time again. If that equals a slow down, then maybe I have a wrong impression of what a slow down is

You must be talking about some other place than what we’re thinking. That place was wide open till the owners pulled the pin and rolled a live grenade in the room, and voila, this place was born 24 hours later.

I wasn’t a member there so I don’t know, but this place has been pretty lively.

I am convinced that the Xenforo search function is a fake add-on to the software. It stinks on any forum that uses Xenforo, but it’s better than VBulletin, because VBulletin is from the debil.
