I have been looking for Alliant 2400 for a good while without success. Midway, Midsouth, Natchez and even Blue Collar, no 2400. Yesterday, I check their website and it shows 27 lbs. of 2400. I call to confirm that the info was correct then head to Salisbury. It's a 35 to 40 minute drive which is close enough to save the hazmat fee and far enough away to not be dropping in every couple of days. It's a great place (they could use a bigger parking lot) and the staff are good people. This place could be dangerous to your bank account.

I may have to find a place to park nearby and walk. My Suburban is hard enuff to park and back out in an empty grocery store parking lot. Been there many times but not since they have been under new mgmt.

I had to travel to Statesville last week, and when I realized Salisbury was not that far out of my way, I stopped at BCR on the way back. It was my first time there. I bought a lot of stuff from them back when they did gun shows in Raleigh. I'm both happy and sad that I don't live close by. Sad, because they have the best stock of any place around, but happy because I'm sure my wallet would be empty if they were close by.

@jimmyjames8 maybe we can carpool once in while. My car gets 40mpg and is very easy to park. :)

If you take the 64 route, if you'd pick me up along the way...

although btwn the three of us and the description of your vehicle a trailer to haul all the stuff back might be in order...

I live 45 min from them. Usually get in there once every month or so. I buy a lot from the Gun Store in Lexington too. 2 local sources for reloading stuff. I refuse to pay Hazmat fees. Never have, never will.

I wish I was closer to blue collar and like you said I’d never pay hazmat. I’ve eat those words a lot lately when stuff like br2 primers and reloader 26 where unicorns. Now 50$ on 16# isn’t that bad at all to keep shooting. I’m just waiting on the first notification that the gm215m primers are in stock anywhere.

I'm sorry to hear that. They were some of the nicest merchants I've ever met. Especially under the chaos of gun show madness.
The new owners seem to be good. Been in there a few times and no issues. Willing to come off prices on some of the higher end stuff.

FInally got over there after I headed down to Charlotte to pick up a new-to-me truck...

Good stock, good service, they are still hampered by supply like everyone else.
See this place is clearly a public nuisance... Really ought to be shut down by the sheriff.

^^^ Thaifighter, poor fella, went out and bought a pickup truck just so he could haul all his purchases home, and it was his first visit.

Ya'll realize how long of a drive it is to go from Sanford, to Charlotte, to Salisbury and then back to Sanford? Their ain't no direct route. Probably took him 4-5 hours of drive time.

Thaifighter clearly has a problem and all you CFF members are just shameless enablers.

That's why I am never going to Blue Collar Reloading.

I had two things I needed to do today.

Two things.

Go to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription and buy groceries for the next week.

Thankfully I went to the pharmacy first....Unfortunately, since it was after 5pm, I figured I would go to the grocery store last. I set the alarm on my watch to go off in ten minutes before I stepped in.... I was back in my car, leaving in seven minutes. I used what I had left for groceries.

I hope ya'll are pleased with yourselves....

But ya'll really ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

Which would make most of us luddites.
Dang it, I was saving that pun for later.

Charging me sales tax is the deal breaker for me.

Bill
Uh huh? Cause you're in Tennessee? Could be worse, you could be required to drive to North Carolina to do a pick up.

EDIT

Drive to NC and then require you to bring your own bucket for them to pour the stuff you bought into......

Wrong again bub. There are ammo dealers out of state I can use that don't charge me sales tax and free shipping if I spend over $500. There is no way in hell that I'm paying an extra $80+for tax on a case of SK rimfire ammo and have to pay shipping too.

UPS does the driving for me. 🤣

Well bub, you win, there is no logical way to reply to that.

I will probably never go there to buy ammo. I didn’t even look at their ammo when I went. I will go there to buy reloading supplies (mainly powder and primers).
But, but, but?!?!

Yeah I know, searching for plinking ammo there is like going to Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory looking for a good T-bone.
