In addition to the reward money that he will get?
only a Rock Hillbilly could lose a phone and have it teleported 60 miles away
So... have you blocked her number yet, or is she still calling?
Sir, you done good. The next one could belong to one of us. Chin up and keep being a good guy in a world full of douchebags. She wanted to tell me the story so bad, but I stopped her. I really don't care why or how it got to where it was, I was rid of it and will think twice before I "find" another one....
I'd have brought it to the business who's parking lot I found it in, and turned it in there. Let them deal with it, and leave you out of it.
Didn't read the entire thread did ya??? In the middle of the road....
Laying in the parking lot. How do I go about finding the rightful owner??
I admit I did not. DEFINITELY scrolled past the pics without pausing...
The OP wrote:I hear 'parking lot' and assume it was at a walmart, supermarket, etc.
So she for real showed up in an ill fitting hooter's uniform?
Well instead of starting a new thread will just add on.
Today while out I saw a zipup purse in the road of a strip mall. I picked it up saw that it was a wallet and called the Greenville PD and they told me to come down and drop it off. After spending 20 minutes trying to find a public parking spot, I took it in to the front desk. It had a phone in it but screen was cracked from being run over. When they asked what I needed I told them I had found this purse in the road. Their comment was "ok, so what do you want us to do with it" I took a step back and couldn't believe what I had just heard. I told them "I don't know but better here than in the hands of a criminal with all her cards and info it in" "also her phone has rung once so maybe yall can answer it" The two officers at the desk just laughed in my face and said "ok" and "what is your name, number, and DOB and I guess we'll hold it for a few days" Really wth else are yall going to do with it now, flip a coin to see who keeps it?
I guess next time I'll just leave these types of items in the road...
Thought about it but address was not local, a county away. Possible ECU student. I didn't rummage around in it.If it had her ID in it, I'd just try to track her down myself. Can't believe the PD treated it that way.

Just mail it to her COD she pays the postage and the fee.

Or take it in a box to the USPS self-service kiosk, swipe whatever CC card is in the wallet, and mail it to the address on the DL. If cash is in there, you could pay that way as well.Ahh didn't think of that. Sounds like that might work. Thanks
