Amazon links don’t render right, so I’ll just say it. My parents have a Stanley Fatmax hose, doesn’t kink, rolls up nice, I really like it and will get one next time.
Is a garden hose anything like a hose pipe?
There are two things which DEFINITELY do not go together in my family:
My wife and garden hoses.
This. After only 2-3yr, I was tired of my 2nd from the top of the line NeverKink kinking. I tried a ZeroG and now, 4yr later, that’s all I’ll buy.I changed from Never Kink to Zero-G. The two replacement Never Kink didn't last as long as the 1st (20 years old).
The Zero is ighter and easy to put away. My wife can pull it around.
NOTE: Not recommended for high abrasive environments. For homeowner use mine are 5+ years so far and zero 🙃 issues.
I think I traded a Never Kink for a Zero with someone on here...
Welp, after 6 years being abused, left on the hanger in the hot sun, freezing winters left out for dead, this one started to leak behind the coupler.
Going to have to search a repair for it. The ‘hose’ is still good.
I think I have a couple three 25, a 50 and 2 hunnerts still holding on fine.

The old, like yours, Never Kink’s were great.Well....my never kink water hose finally kinked and sprung a leak. It's about 20 years old, so I'm not complaining. Are they still of good quality or is another brand much better?
These look good
If you’re using brass on the hose, never use aluminum nozzles and such. Only brass to brass or stainless. These look good
This one has BRASS fittings $80

Does it touch concrete? My wife got one to water the garden next to the pool, the fabric and inner hose wore through in a couple weeks.Another Zero G fan here. I have 5-6.
I think @Qball posted about them a few years ago so I bought one.
Mine get used on the concrete driveway and concrete patio, as well as the yard, but I can’t even imagine the use that would cause them to wear out that fast. My oldest ones are 4.5 years old.Does it touch concrete? My wife got one to water the garden next to the pool, the fabric and inner hose wore through in a couple weeks.
I have a 50-footer that just started leaking in the same place. I guess that is their Achilles heel.Welp, after 6 years being abused, left on the hanger in the hot sun, freezing winters left out for dead, this one started to leak behind the coupler.
