I decided it was time to replace the burners and heat shields in my gas grill...
Should've been a fairly straightforward project. The shields aren't attached, so remove & replace. The burners simply slide over the gas nozzles and are held in place on the other end by a small cotter pin.
1 of the 4 doesn't light. There's nothing about it to be broken, as they're just hollow tubes. I see a spark. I can swap burners around and the problem stays in the same spot.
I did not remember to try one of the old burners back in that spot before I left the house. Just trying to come up with possible ideas before I get back home.
Anything to look for? Maybe run a wire brush over the end of the nozzle in case there's a rust flake or something in the way?
