36v or 48v?

Edit: You're going to have a few people recommend Costco for your batteries. I can't do that because there ain't one near me.

Here was me, a few weeks back.

I'll be sure to let you know if they last longer than five years.

I just bought two Interstate batteries for my truck last night at Costco. Great price, 3 year warranty. That's where I'll be looking when it's time to replace our cart batteries.

We used this guy for my moms golf cart about 6 years ago. I don't recall seeing a brand on the batteries. My mom passed and my sisters have her golf cart now and had let the batteries die completely and not charged for about 2 years. I disconnected the batteries and put my chargers on them individually and was able to revive the batteries. Their cart charger had also crapped out, so they bought a new "smart" charger to keep them charged.

The most reliable we’ve seen in industrial environments is Trojan (Not one word @kcult), next is Interstate.
That's what I've always heard. Just wasn't sure if there were any new developments or changes. This thing gets used to drag the horse pasture every few days with the lil 4' drag harrow. Spikes up. And just in general around the property. These things are very handy..

It's always trouble when I get that close to Poppie's. Jake'll make me buy a new toy.. 😁
I'll check with them..

Can I buy if I'm not a member? Thought I saw somewhere that those were not premium Interstates?

When I used to work on them, the only ones that I saw that reliably held up were Trojans. Just remember you get what you pay for. My second would be Interstate.

Costco batteries are good to go. Not seconds. They are premium. I have ran 2 of them in my diesel trucks for years. I get at least 5 years from a set.

Best thing about Costco is their no questions asked return.

I would imagine you need to be a member. Our membership is well worth it for us. If you don't have one maybe a buddy does? I think it's only $50 for a basic membership although like everything else that might have increased since I last checked.

You can shop as a non-member if you have one if their Costco Cash Cards (gift cards/whatever they’re called). I think you’ll pay a 5% premium though.

Or, you can have a member take you as a guest. But I think the member has to pay, and you can pay them back.

The old batts finally gave it up.
The local shop in Rockwell hooked us up with a reasonable deal on a new set of US batteries.
It's good to be rollin properly again. That thing gets used a lot. 🤠 👍

Crown supposedly has the best in the industry. They have thicker plates and heavier lugs. Good luck finding a dealer.
Trojan would be next.

This thread makes me thankful that mine is a gas buggy. I wish it had just a little bit more power, but for what I got it for it was a no-brainer.

Want to try Lithium? I've got 8 that I used in my RV for a month then sold the rig for bigger. $ 75 each?
