Help Me Select a CZ Handgun

This, in the interest of full disclosure the first 2k rounds where with the pistol in stock form with no issues other than 2 fte's using some steel case ammo. I'm way over 4k but it's no longer stock, I changed a few things just because no real need.

In Scotland county you can only apply for two permits at a time....very tiresome. But I still have one left for my big heavy gun!
Whether that means two permits from a single application, or two applications that yield a single permit each, it is stuff like this that annoys me. Badly.
State law clearly says there will be no limit as to number or frequency of applications. Even if it's only one permit per application, you can put in eighty four applications at the same time if you want.
Personally, I would go in there and fill out ten of them just to call em out on it.

Unfortunately I’m not sure head sheriffs in North Carolina actually know the laws. And furthermore I think they make up rules and apply laws as they go about daily business. Being a sheriff of a County is never about qualified, it’s about popularity or gene pool.

I would sit in the office in Scotland County and fill out as many as I wished. I got eight with one application this year and the number is limitless.

Well, I do them online. There's a place you tell them how many permits you want, one or two. Also, I've gotten wimpier the older I get! A few decades ago I'd probably have tested them a bit, just because I wanted to! Now, I just want my permits and my CC permit, and I'm going on about my business. Sad, isn't it? I'm too old to rock the boat now! What a wuss!!!

I like the striker guns for carry and the hammer guns for competition.
I’d get the P10 for an all rounder. I think it has a better trigger than the P07.
Although with some money thrown at it the P07 can be very good.

Don't know enough about them, but I like the look of that CZ 2075 D Rami. Something I would like to have, but not for carry.

I used to have one. Really solid shooter. And it is a pretty good carry gun. It is a little wider than some, but it never bothered me. Add a little CGW magic and it is a fine piece.

I still have not shot my RAMI but I love the feel with the 14 round mag. I especially like the decocker since it’s a double action on the first trigger pull. That completes my safety requirements of an intention pull and it’s going to take a more bumps and mistakes to discharge. I’d feel more confident in the pants. This gun is rock solid. As I said earlier the plan is to dress it up a bit with some cerakote accents and some wood grips.
I put my hands on the CZ Tactical Sport Orange and out of the box it’s pretty much a complete range gun. In my opinion it needs nothing but ammo. Don’t think it’s a future gun at this time though unless I went to competitions (which would not be me due to eye sight). The next CZ is going to be a full size steel frame before I venture into more Tupperware guns.

Rami will be a solid shooter for you. Just, please get a decent pocket holster. We don't need any CFF members on CNN.

Pocket Carry is out for me. When I carry it will be in a leather holster OWB. I need to contact chief Jason to see if he can make one. It’s all I can stand to have a wallet in a pocket. Wish I could get a response from the guy in Norway on the grips but he is not responding. I have a local cop who is a wood working phenom and may contact him to produce something.

Hakan Pek in Norway responded and apologized for a late reply. He is currently producing the grips in Chakte Cokwood (whatever that tree is). When the tree is cut it is a deep red color. Should be interesting to see the final product. Now I’m looking to get a cerakoter to make the mag release, slide release, and decocker gold.

Are either of these deals that shouldn't be passed up? Threaded barrel and suppressor sights had me interested.

I'm pretty sure they know the laws, but choose to ignore them knowing that they pretty much have a firm grip on that Jim Crow crap. NCSA makes sure of it.

Meck allows 5 at a time. With our soon to be new sheriff, McFadden in charge, I am wondering how much longer they can possibly drag it out. Got permits after about 90 days, CHP took 144 after waiting two weeks for the appointment for prints, etc. That was with a more or less 2A friendly sheriff processing apps and the clerk of the court slowing things down, blaming of course the hospitals they check. McFadden is already planning to implement the lefts plans to complete turning Meck into a third world country by not participating in the 287G program.

Reading this makes me want a CZ. Better than sex according to some of these guys.

The P10 can be price matched at degins.net for $405 but it'll cost you $30 shipping and yransfer.

If you do not have to have the rail or decocker, the 75B with safety, supressor ready can be price matched from deg7ns.net for about $515. Use code SHIP30 for free shipping. Transfer fee at destination. If I had the spare cash, Id buy one at that price.

I thought you were saving up for an FN5.7 :(
They had those in the same email. The "add to cart" deal was $1149 IIRC.

Excellent. I'll order some ammo to help you break it in. :D

Having some custom wood grips made for the CZ75b now from Hakan Pek in Norway. This time I’m going with birdseye amboyna. I’ll post some pictures once everything arrives and is installed.

Here is a the actual picture he sent of the CZ2075 RAMI grips finished in Chakte wood. Now for a unique holster in maybe some exotic. Looking at hippo, shark, and ostrich.

Here are the two CZs I bought. CZ75B with LOK grip change and the CZ2075bd RAMI decocker with grips from Hakan Pek of Norway. The brass screws were from a site that only sold screws for CZs.

CZ2075BD RAMI with Hakan Pek Chakte Wood and brass screws.

CZ75B with replaced LOK orange grips.

Need a holster still for the RAMI. CZ75B replaced the G17 by the bed for now.
