Heritage 22 revolvers

nah. i got my miami one for $99 about 2 years ago. they're just cheap guns.

And just to prove I don't hold grudges (or that I can justify anything to myself), I fell in love with this thing at (you guessed it) Academy about a month later and brought it home with me. Here it is getting sighted in. Has pretty nice adjustable sights.

BTW the Joker theme comes from this scene in the first batman movie:

I think I'm going to hang it on the wall in the man cave with one of these stuck in it. :D

I hope I'm not too late to warn you, but if you care about the looks of the joker grips at all, remove them, put them away, and get a different set of panels to use. The ink they use turns to rubbery smeary sticky mush in no time flat. Mine looked like crap after the first day in my hands. What a massive shame. Still love that gun though! Near rifle velocity is worth it and the accuracy is really good, especially with the .22 mags.
I can post pictures of the grips later if there's enough demand I suppose.

I've heard the same. I guess coating them is just too much for them, which is ridiculous

Great info, thanks. I haven't handled it since, so I expect they are still in good shape. I happen to have a can of gloss clear coat that should help with that, but I know from experience that even that will chip and flake if handled enough. Maybe a set of the coco bolo grips is a good idea.

I would give the clear a try for sure. It can't look worse than this... remember this is only one day after I bought it. (I can screenshot the original photo data and the receipt if anyone really needs proof.)
If this is the result of excessively handling a handle, I must be misunderstanding the purpose of a handle.

Here's their condition after removal, about 2 months usage.

Here's mine with the Camo Strato Altamont grips and .22 WMR cylinder. If you're getting some, I suggest ones with checkering to help improve grip when shooting offhand. It tends to pivot down a bit with the slicker wood panels.
Pay no attention to the zip-tied ejector rod that decided to truly live up to it's name on day two. It's a "temporary" fix, holding three months now. I'll fix it right at some point.

I sound like I'm bashing it but it's probably my favorite gun and I absolutely love it. So far I've shot close to a thousand rounds of .22 LR and WMR combined and it never fails to put a stupid grin on my face every time.

Just remember to break out the lock-tite and snug all the screws before much use. Despite minor quality control issues, it's a pretty nice gun for the price and I still want to pick up another one... or two.

I’ve had a 4 5/8” Heritage 22 for several years. It’s accurate and has a good trigger. It’s main use is for a snake gun around our little farm, but it’s definitely a fun revolver to shoot!2910A241-754E-4E1F-AF02-28D835571100.jpeg

I was thinking about getting a WMR cylinder for my pistol.

Anyone have a extra or should I order from the factory?

You'll save me nine dollars as I got the cylinder shipped free!

Now if I can finds some 22 WMR to go with it and I will be all set.

Mine goes bang every time except when it doesn't. It shoots where you point it if you hold it just so. It has two cylinders but I don't think I can handle the 22 MAGNUM so I don't use that one. And the cowboy belt shrank 3 sizes since I got it :(
I work with leather a lot and I can’t figure out why leather shrinks like it does . My original rig shrank 6” .
