I have always wanted to become a NRA (or some type of national accredited instructor) with handguns. Not to get into tactical shooting or for a long time with some help from another instructor. This would be a base level course leading up to how handguns work to the different type of handguns and calibers. Also, include different bullets information. I have a range to use from 25 to 35 yard pistol ranges and then some combat bays for later in training.
If this would work, I would love to move on to rifle lessons and maybe a course on reloading. I am going to be 65 in September but not going to retire for a couple of years. Out of 12 months, I am slow 7 months of the year. That is when I would try to teach.it.
Looking for other certifications besides the NRA but will be looking at their course over the next couple of weeks.
Your thoughts?
