I started to ask what part of New York you are from. But, for those natives who haven't ventured east of Zebulon very often I can see why you would be confused.

I was born in the sandhills of NC. Raised here until I joined the Army. I have never liked hushpuppies. Or corn sticks unless they are basically tortilla chip thin.
