Maybe the reason mentioned earlier...Whats this IRS stuff McGregor keeps bringing up?
I don't think it starts until midnight Eastern Time.
One of my buddies did the same thing. There was no way I was staying up to watch it after taking 4 kids camping Friday and all day Saturday.I watched it free on periscope which was a first for me

I'm not a boxing fan, although I do enjoy MMA. I have never paid for a PPV fight before, but I did last night and have absolutely no regrets in doing so. For the first time since Christmas my entire family, as well as some extended family, was all in one room enjoying each other's company and having a great time. I would have rather seen Conner win, I like MMA, but Floyd was extremely strategic throughout the fight just as he has been his entire career. He controlled the fight to play to his strengths. He was the better boxer without a doubt. Despite all of that, Fight Night at the Pressley House was a huge success and worth every penny of the $100 that it cost!
Come to the octagon Floyd, it won't take long
Are you kidding? Mac wasn't even able to defend himself near the end. Ref made the right call.I thought the ref called it too soon. Mac took a few good hits, but he wasn't out and damn sure wasn't giving uo. I heard that if Mac had won, Vegas would be broke. I see a rematch in the future, I just hope it's in the octagon. Flotd wouldn't survive a round.

As for the fight, Mac had no chance. It went just as everyone in the fight game predicted - Mac comes out aggressive, Floyd bides his time and is willing to concede a couple of early rounds while he figures out Mac's range and timing, and then he goes to work. The only thing I was surprised by was how little power Mac was getting on his punches. Floyd appeared pretty much unaffected. I think he was hurt even less than against Pacquiao (and he wasn't really ever hurt there).
As for a rematch, why on earth would anyone want to watch that? Same result, except Floyd goes to work even earlier. Sheesh. I figured people would learn their lesson after paying a ridiculous price for this joke of a fight.
And while I know MMA fans would jizz in their pants at the prospect of Mac getting Floyd in the octagon, that's never going to happen. Floyd didn't get to 50-0 and incredibly wealthy by being an idiot.
Heh. I can't believe that people are talking positively about this farce. Given the response, don't be surprised if Dana White next pits Demetrious Johnson against Tonya Harding in figure skating and charges $120 for the PPV.Tell us how you really feel tho!

You might be right - I cannot believe all the positive talk after this 'fight'/farce. How anyone paid $100 for the PPV and felt like they got anything close to their money's worth is beyond me. The only person sucking Mac's penor harder than the played public was Mac himself - talking about how he was recovering. Dude hadn't thrown a punch in a long time in that round, and he was not making it out of that round on his two feet if the ref hadn't stopped it. Floyd beat the **** out of him. And that was coming back from a 2yr layoff. Anyone who would pay to watch a rematch should just bend over and let Dana White have at it with no vaseline.I beg to differ. White folks been getting played for a century now chasing the chance at the "Great White Hope".
It's a proven revenue generator and it never gets old yet the outcome is so often the same. I see no reason it won't generate the same money again. Look at all the sympathizers now already talking bout how good Mac fought and how he deserves so much credit for making it 10 rounds.
Everyone I've talked to that says that has no frigging clue about what boxing is or how it's different than fighting.
Win-win-win for both fighters, the promoters, and Showtime.
The only losers will be the fans.
Pure fantasy.
Pacquiao, an experienced, accomplished and aggressive BOXER could barely touch Mayweather. McGregor's left hook won't touch anything but air.
Unless he's willing to throw elbows, knees and bite off one of Floyd's ears, his chances are slim to none.
Who has done that to him? Even Pacquiao, a very aggressive and very accomplished boxer couldn't hurt Mayweather. Mac is going to be totally out of his element, and he's going to box Mayweather into a corner? It is to laugh.
But hey, hope springs eternal, and that's what the promoters, Mayweather, McGregor, Showtime and everyone else who is going to make a killing on this farce are banking on. So shell out and let them cash in on your hope.

Speaking of, listening to the post-fight fan reaction reminds me of women who try to convince themselves that what just happened to them wasn't rape.
Just as Floyd isn't going to out-MMA an MMA fighter, it is pure fantasy to expect an MMA fighter is going to outbox a world champion boxer, nevermind one of the greatest boxers of all time.
Allow me to quote myself from a couple of months before this joke of a fight.
You called it!
Was having this discussion with another guy earlier and telling him how crazy he sounded thinking a Mac even had a chance or that the outcome was even close. I told him he may not be an athlete but he needs to respect that in any activity whether it be sports or not there is no comparison between those considered best in the world vs those that are considered pretty good. Any I'll say that applies to most anything. Told him he couldn't score 2pts let alone 6pts or 30pts if he was given a whole 4 periods on the court with a solid NBA team. Told him he wouldn't even be able to get a hit if allowed the opportunity to stand at the plate before a world class MLB pitcher. Couldn't come close to the shoot times of world class shooters, ete. Same with Golf, Tennis, or even non athletic things like computers, chess, etc. The best in the world at anything are just that....the best at a specific task out of a world of billions of people. Let that sink in

Total wast of time! That's why I don't rap battle against Eminem. I ain't no fool.
Unless people high on hope are willing to pay you millions to do it. Then you'll do it with a smile on your face and then rest your beaten self on pillows stuffed with benjamins.Total wast of time!
