Seems to be a good pointer. I might carry it.I love the tapered barreled 10s and 64s. I have a model 64 no-dash that is this one's shiny twin. I love shooting that gun because it's accurate and balances well
I like a 686, 66, 64.Very nice man, I’ve never been much of a revolver shooter but I really want a .357 & .44 mag, I had a really nice 3” 686+ but like an idiot I sold it and regret it bad.

Shoot it and enjoy itI'm gonna wax it tomorrow.
I will but the wax is to keep my sweat form rusting the old girl.Shoot it and enjoy it
It dont bother me. I can still cock it. I never shoot one in single action unless I'm just messing around at the range.I've owned a few model 10's and 15's. Lovely revolvers. I think everyone should have one in their collection. A while back I traded my model 15 for a 1968 dated model 19, because I wanted to be able to shoot 357.
I don't know if I could get over that bobbed hammer. Not a fan of DA only revolvers, myself.
If there's anything better than a .38 Special K frame, it's a .357 Magnum K frame.I've owned a few model 10's and 15's. Lovely revolvers. I think everyone should have one in their collection. A while back I traded my model 15 for a 1968 dated model 19, because I wanted to be able to shoot 357.

Waxing! I thought I was the only one that ever waxed guns. I first learned that trick back in the 70's.I will but the wax is to keep my sweat form rusting the old girl.
Its smart if you hunt in the rain or sweat alot like I do. Wax it the best protection for your gun.Waxing! I thought I was the only one that ever waxed guns. I first learned that trick back in the 70's.
Love the gun, including the wear.
I'm notorious for wearing the blue off of guns in the grip area. Back when K-Mart still had guns, I was a Sporting Goods manager and I waxed all the display guns. Made them all shiny and purty. Its smart if you hunt in the rain or sweat alot like I do. Wax it the best protection for your gun.
Renaissance or auto wax? I use a car wax but I'm think about buying some just for guns.I'm notorious for wearing the blue off of guns in the grip area. Back when K-Mart still had guns, I was a Sporting Goods manager and I waxed all the display guns. Made them all shiny and purty.
Wish I'd bought an Ithaca 37 back then.
I use turtle. It smells nice. LolI've always used Johnson Paste Wax or Mother's car wax. Never tried the high $ Renaissance wax.
My model 10 fits me perfectly as well. It had one of those things you add to the grip but I didn't like the way it looked so I took it off. Turns out I didn't need it, the standard grip was fine.@Mightyox04 : Very nice!
Tried out a Model 10 today for the first time - Fits my hand like a glove... guy wants 600 for it, it's got some wear and a lil slop but weight, balance, and grip feel tailor made for me. My sights are set on something different but model 10 is sweet.
Buy it.I wasn't expecting it, wasn't even on my radar but boy it suits me good. Glad you like yours
I always figured that if Johnson's Paste Wax was good enough for a $3000 tablesaw bed it was fine for a pistol.I've always used Johnson Paste Wax or Mother's car wax. Never tried the high $ Renaissance wax.

I've been saving for a sweet 1911. Then a guy on the fire department asked if I wanted the model 10.Threads like this is why I am always confused...
I need a model 10, and a GI 1911, but I’ve been wanting a Scorpion, but those CZ P01s are nice....
