It is a Tula M91. But we'd need more pictures to say much more. As for stripper clips, the reproductions all suck. You really only want the originals. I've got a batch of original Izhevsk marked clips from old spam cans stashed somewhere around here in my gun junk/parts boxes. PM me a mailing address and I'll send you a few for free - though it might be a week or so before I get around to digging them out.My God son just graduated and was gifted a Mosin by his grandfather.
I bought him som ammo but want to pick up some stripper clips. Anyone have a good source? Everything I have found seems too expensive.
Also, for the gurus what can you tell me about this particular rifle?
My daughter in law pumped over 100 rounds down range almost as fast as she could cycle them through the rifle... grinning from ear to ear.Ya won't want to shoot it fast enough to need the clips.
Agreed, but it's not about that.Ya won't want to shoot it fast enough to need the clips.
He would like the pouch set too I'm sure. Thank youThe ones off Numrich work well https://www.gunpartscorp.com/search#query=MOSIN Stripper.
That website is weird, it shows the same item many times? The ones off Numrich work well https://www.gunpartscorp.com/search#query=MOSIN Stripper.
It is due to them listing them as parts for the different individual guns. If you search for all parts for a Type 53 or a 91/30 it will show up in the list. That website is weird, it shows the same item many times?
