NC 2nd Amendment Sanctuary Counties - map/updates

I sent an email to all nine commissioners tonight, plus the clerk of court, the sheriff, and the chief of police.

Although, the chief is retired as of 1/1/20 but is returning for the convention. I couldn’t find where his interim replacement had been named.
...and if nothing comes of it, I’m sending another one with a map showing every county around us once they’re all green. :D

Pamlico - passed unanimously
Cabarrus - passed unanimously
Catawba - passed unanimously
Stanly - passed unanimously
Currituck - passed unanimously
Yadkin - passed unanimously

Haywood and Iredell - it was discussed and public was given a chance to comment. Resolution is being drafted and will be brought up at a future meeting for a vote in February.

Uh, what?

My sarcastic reply on the question of certain counties were going to join us Normal Folks.

Just viewing / reading my single post without going to the post I replied on is out of context.

So follow the link that I replied to and , it should make sense, or maybe not.

I just came to post that Cabarrus passed but @wsfiredude beat me to it.

I just learned of their effort yesterday so I didn’t get to attend but but glad it turned out well!!

Old Cooper and Josh Stein (along with the shardiffs in Mecklenburg, Durham, Wake, Orange, etc) have been kinda quiet about this growing movement in NC ... wonder what is brewing in their minds?

probably thinking about what social issue they can can whip into a frenzy to get them re-elected with a bit of Durham election fraud help.

I have zero expectations of anything good coming from the current high sheriff in Wake.
I do wonder what’s happening in Harnett. Has this been posted?

Article about Yadkin county adopting a resolution.

The seats in the Commissioners’ Chambers were filled to capacity with many standing in the aisle and the crowd spilling out into the lobby.

Also talk from the speakers about the need for a local militia.

Senator Britt wants Robeson as Second Amendment Sanctuary

LUMBERTON — Two state lawmakers want to see Robeson and Columbus join the growing ranks of North Carolina counties that have approved Second Amendment Sanctuary resolutions.

State Sen. Danny Britt Jr., a Republican from Lumberton, plans bring up the issue of a Robeson County resolution that protects the right to keep and bear arms during the Feb. 3 or Feb. 17 meeting of the Robeson County Board of Commissioners.

Britt also said Wednesday that he supports state Rep. Brenden Jones’ effort to get a similar resolution approved in Columbus County.

No, was working with map and missed it. I fix in a few.

I can't help but wonder what kind of impression it would leave on the commissioners, the sheriff, and the public if Wake County gun owners mounted a campaign to
"Run a Richmond On 'Em" [pat. pend.]

lots of momentum building up. maps looks better and better every week.

Surround me. Take me by force. and shoot me if you have to. Its okay, i'll understand. Just smuggle my daughter on the freedom railroad to one of your sanctuaries lol.

I'd be surprised if Chatham passes. Love my Chatham peeps, but the spreading Orange stain may screw that up.
