As @Pineapple said, it's so easy to stereotype these big gentle guys with names like Gladiator or some silly shirt they are not. Right now I am leaning toward PUGSLY, WALDO OR BREWSTER. I will pick him up on Thursday AM and I am sure once I get to know him and he bites off a toe I'll just call him ToeJam or something.

When I was in high school I had a solid black german shepherd that I named Blondie.You have to choose something unexpected, but not cliche(ie, not Butch, but also not Tiny) for a big dog. Preferably one that will either embarrass you to say, or others to hear.
