The EC9s has to be a new version of the LC9 series. Why is it better? Don't really get that..the LC9s is a pretty good piece. I don't know if I like the machined-into-the-slide sights.
Dropping prices to blow out inventory before a new model is introduced is one thing, but it is entirely different to introduce a new model with the objective of undercutting prices for nearly the entire market. The EC9s seems to be another addition like the SR9e. Taking an existing model, stripping it down, and trying to compete with the S&W rebated models and probably the ridiculous Taurus prices.
I appreciate your thoughts on the Williams sights; I will be giving them a closer look.I have an LC9s, and I added Williams FO sights (green front, red rear). It makes a world of difference daytime and low light.
I think they did do all that with their LC9sPRO. Not sure about other models.I would like to see them de-FUDD (magazines disconnects, LCI's) some of their current offerings before offering yet another 9mm gun.

The EC9S looks like the old LC9 with that miles-long trigger. I REALLY liked the SR9C & was hoping for a SR45C. I figure the new American Pistol line put the ki-bosh on that, but would really like to test drive the compact .45.
Same experience here. My buddy has the old version and they are night and dayfwiw, the LC9s striker trigger is surprisingly really really good. The EC9s appears to be the same. You really need to try it, way different than the old crap.
