Hey.
I’m a Yankee that moved here from NH because it was getting overrun by liberal USA hating Massholes.
I brought my 4x4 Silverado, 5 SIG handguns, 2 AR15s and a few thousand rounds of ammo with me.
We supported Trump from day one AND STILL DO. Our son worked with the Trump election team in NH and across the country.
We are flying an American flag in front of our rental home in Raleigh and still have the POW and Gladsten flags we flew in NH.
OH ya.. I’m not cute and can be a bitch to hang with if you don’t respect the military, law enforcement, or what our country stands for.

don't take any offense to them talking about "yankees"
they're still sore losers after that whole "war of northern aggression" thing, so the deep resentment is bred into them.
before long, they'll call you "one of the good ones". It's about the best that refugees from the north like us can hope for

still, it's better than catching Beech-Nut in the eye

There is probably a much better Civil War historian on here than I, but did the Yankees win, or did all the Irish they enslaved fresh off the boats have something to do with it? It’s all so very complicated and confusing. Lots of angles. Was it a war, or just a battle in a war that’s still being fought? Then I think, if you were a Yankee, won the war, but had to go back North did you really win anything?

It is all in fun. Let’s not get carried away.

For the time being we are one country, even though some people hate it.
Lets focus on saving our 2A rights and what’s left of the country.


BTW. Some of my best friends are Rebs…. :)

Hell, you brought guns and ammo, the American flag, don’t like disrespecting people who serve. You fit fine. New Hampshire is no New York, Mass, or New Jersey. But even those states have a bunch of good people. Just not enough to help overcome the destruction of civilized America. Never let being referred to as a Yank get under your skin. I laughed hard when they heard my voice in Boston and called me a rebel terrorist.

Wish we could fit them out in little neon green vests. They are hard to see when they jump out in front of you at dawn. Even though I was going slow a couple of years ago one came out of no where and ran under my car before I could react and got crushed by my back wheel. Still feel badly about it.

Not my neighborhood either, but close. I’m off Eastfield near the light where Browne/Asbury Chapel crosses.
 
In our current area, I use it for laughs. Seldom useful informations pops up.
With all the out of state'rs moving in from non friendly gun areas they have lost there ever lid flopping minds since deer season started on next door, we can shut this down etc? Boy did they get the short ending, it's the south honey get use to it. One group wanted to shut down a vendor legally selling ammo from a outdoor market.They are fully licensed.
See that high end gated community built right beside a very established hunting preserve and a Gun Range across the street abit.
St.James....and Winding River been so much entertaining reading of the Karen's society.

I will never understand this mentality. Ever. I moved here from what is likely the least 2A friendly state in the nation. But, I MOVED HERE, not the other way around. You don't move to someone else's house and tell them "This is how we did it when I lived in XXXX" or "The way you do things needs to change". Not only is it just rude, you're going to turn it into the mess you just left. This should be obvious but unfortunately that does not appear to be the case.

(A little editing, above. Couldn't help myself.) Somebody locally posted about one string of their outdoor Christmas lights being cut, and wondered why vandals would cut only one string out of the several they had. Plenty of people quickly pointed the finger at squirrels, so at least the locals around here know them for the tree rats they are.

My parents' neighbor trapped a problem squirrel with one of those have a heart live traps. He told us how he captured it and relocated it away from his property. He drove about 4 houses down and released it in to some woods. We were incredulous while he was telling the tale. That squirrel probably beat him home.🤦‍♂️

Meanwhile, he was unaware I was out there popping them with a suppressed CZ 455 for a more permanent solution.

Tell the lady that is concerned about squirrels getting run over to put up signs saying “Caution Squirrel Crossing” and put stripes on the road like a crosswalk. Then conduct a training class for the squirrels that includes a clear warning the any squirrel that tries to cross elsewhere will shot. Squirrels that do not attend the class will be subject to being shot two or three times.

This will give us a confined area to squash them with our vehicles and a right to shoot the tree rats that don’t follow the rules.

You should explain to her what it would mean if every single squirrel was killed off in the entire neighborhood.

It would mean more squirrels would move in.
