Perpetual "I've got a sudden hanker'n for" thread.

Not necessarily a craving…but an impulse buy. Was stopping at HT to grab some chips & dip and walked by the yogurt section in route to the dips. This caught my eye, so I bought one. Finished it, but no way I’d buy another. Chemical cherry flavored. 🤢

School pizza - yes, you can buy those. If youre in the Triad you can contact Orrell's Food in Tyro/Churchland area - they literally sell to schools.
You can call, as a 'regular' person and tell them what you want and get it from the cash and go area.
I dont know how much it is now, but it was about 50c a piece, box of 100 or something.
 
As for yesterday - Man I had a hankering for a good, hearty breakfast. All day I was thinking about it. Eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy... yeah. And then I ended up doing chicken fried chicken. Still got my eggs, biscuit and gravy though.

Saturday mornings. I eat great all week and Saturday is my big country breakfast day. Pancakes, bacon, eggs, grits, apple turnover…and whatever the wife doesn’t finish on her plate so there was also toast, a bit more bacon and taters 😂

I cant think of any better cheat day food. Those big, greasy, cholesterol lafen breakfasts hold a special place in my heart attack.
But, Im gonna eat one a week anyway 😂
 
When my intestine wrapped around itself and put me in the hospital a few years back I wasn’t able to eat for about four days… first thing I wanted was little Cesars deep dish pizza
Once I got over COVID and my taste started to come back I wanted Pizza Hut pizza something terrible, but the personal pan pizza not a large and it had to be from an actual Pizza Hut not a fast food one.

This is close and can order small packs (12) of them. Walmart pre-covid carried a 10 pack of generic rectangular pizzas that were spot on. Supposedly what you want is Tony's commodity pizza if you're ordering from a food supply store, but you're looking at a case of like 50 or so.

It's getting cooler, moms chicken stew.
Chicken, onions, potatoes, corn, red pepper, white pepper, black pepper, salt, butter and milk. It's really good.
