Pissed at Walmart. Again!

Well, they certainly pissed me off today!

Not only did they not ask me for my ID when I was buying CCI SV ammo, but they lifted the 3 box limit yesterday and didn't tell me until today.
So did you look like the kid in your avatar when this happened?

As I was walking out the door the manager came from the back and asked to see my ID. I asked what for. Said it was state law that any bill over a $20 they had to record. I told her to f#$@ her state law.

Could always ask her to show the law in question.

Walmart at Concord Mills had BRICKS of CCI SV and AE22, with some broken open. I asked a lady to help me and she took her sweet time getting back with the key. I asked about the 3 box limit and told her I wanted the 3 big blue boxes at the bottom. She refused to sell them, and I asked why since they had plenty and I was sure those bricks would ring up. And 3x$3.57 was less than the hundred plus dollars I wanted to spend. She still refused so I walked. If they continue to have the 3 box limit then Im going to continue crossing the street where Academy has bricks for sale for $35 or less. Freaktard doesnt understand avg amount of sales = good for company profit.

I was told that their stocking of Perfecta ammo has definitely been discontinued due to no longer having a contract with them. They probably demanded to get it for 50% less or something similarly greedy. Quite pissed about that since that was the best deal in the store.

Its just Fiocchi with a different headstamp.

Yes we are aware of all that. I just like supporting small(er) businesses by ordering from them without dealing with the parking, hoarders, and poor service that Wal-Mart has. As a bonus, I can usually order ammo for the same or less than going through the hassle that is the Wal-Mart experience. Buy you are right, everything you do is tracked.
I gave them my RETIRED military ID, the dumbazz just looked at me and said, "does it have your birthday on it?" I just gave him a dumb look and left. I mean it's Retired!

Must have been a product of public schools subject to "no child left behind, aka no child gets ahead" because that one sure didn't.

I had a clerk from electronics quote me "State" Law one night at 9:05. This was a couple years back when 9mm was impossible to find and I found 3 boxes at Wally World. He told me he couldn't sell them because to was a "State Law" that you can't sell after 9pm. Really!? Try maybe store policy or more like you're an idiot! I quit dealing with them after that!

We should all, and I mean everyone here, respond with 7/4/1776. I wasn't smart enough to think of that on my own; I had help right here at CFF.
Bought some juice today.
Attendant ask DOB & also added, "Before or after WWII."
Reply, "7-4-76."
Attendant, OK, that's before.

Bought a box of 9mm a couple days ago at Wally World. Didn't ask pistol or rifle, but did ask for ID. I simply said 7/4/76, she typed it in, I paid and left.

I have started buying most of my ammo from outdoor limited. They have awesome prices, shipping is ok and they are located in NC so sort of local ;).

Or I buy from my LGS. They have even ordered ammo for that they don't carry for a good price ( match 223, and match 7.62x54r)

I've been getting the best prices from Academy and Brownells when they have sales with free shipping, but I only buy .223 and .22. But Outdoor Limited may take 1st place.

The last time I bought some at WW, she asked DOB I told her 7 4 1776 the register wouldn't accept 1776 as correct. The poor girl was dumbfounded.

I had a gas station ask for my ID last fall in Black Mountain NC to buy beer. I'm over 60. I grudgingly handed him my NCDL. He started to scan it and I snatched it out of his hand. Told him the law requires none of that. He asked me to please leave. I loudly complied.
Black Mtn. aka snowflake city?
We do all the electrical work at the Billy Graham Center (great folks btw) so I'm in that area all the time. 80% of the people in Black Mountain are hippie rejects from the 60's, along with their extremely dense kids and grandkids. Their sense of special-ness hangs thick in the air like smog in Hong Kong.
I really feel for the good Patriots that have been there forever, only to watch all the Bernies from Asheville invade their community attempting to escape all the high taxes they voted for..when they lived in Asheville.
