Proposing a “suspended” status

So a “tax” to tow the mods train of thought and agreement in totality? Isn’t that part of what makes this forum so great we can all disagree and ad discuss that SO long as we don’t do it disrespectfully?

I think I’d rather see mods take bribes to suspend people of someone’s choosing.

As the OP I’d like to clarify that I thought the idea was good because it would have eliminated a dozen or so posts asking about a much loved recently banned member and then dozens of responses to each of those questions. No new rules, no new software development, no extra work for the mods.

You could always implement an incrementing sliding scale and after a certain limit, the ban hammer. Or some combination of penalty box sit out, like 24hrs and fine.
