Finally got a chance to do more work on the short sword.

I have a bit more finish work to do but the handle stack and pommel turned out well.

I used leather scraps I got from @gunbelt to stack the handle and @DangerRuss cast me a few brass balls back in the spring out of ping pong and golf balls. I elected to use a ping pong size one here and ended up grinding a good bit of it off to get the balance right. Feels really good in the hand.

Some fine blade smithing right there. What steel and dimensions? The stacked leather really brings it out.

It's 1084. 13" from guard to tip and 7.5" from guard to pommel.

It is about the max my current quench tank will support. Building a bigger vertical quench tank soon. May make a full size twin of this then.

This was my first time forging a fuller. That was fun.
 
Amazing work!!!! I’m blown away by this thread, and can’t wait to see what’s next!
