Revolver Picture Thread

OK, very cool, I see a bunch of revos!! How much interest in me setting up an ICORE club in NC?? Would run a match in Oxford, NC and one in Jacksonville, NC maybe 4 per year at each location?? I tried ICORE matches in the past, but just not enough turnout to make it worthwhile. Please give me some feedback, thanks!!
I would like to shoot icore at Oxford..

What's wrong Jeppo?I told you to get a bigger safe. Then your collection could expand
Precisely why I'm sitting in front of the computer, right now, searching for smaller safes.

Got rid of my extras and the wife (and kids) left me with a little cash, so hoping I can run into something fun before the money is gone. Gonna hit some pawn shops Monday. Hoping to find a model 12 or something for a killer deal (as the money is disappearing fast). I have a small window and an every growing small amount of money.

Fingers crossed!

I've said it before and I'll say it again...the Model 12 snub is one of the best damned deals going. Super lightweight and concealable, big enough to shoot well, decent capacity, old school cool and....you can still find DEALS. Note, these may conceal better IWB than J frames depending on your set up. They can sit deep enough so that a belt fits into the space between the recoil shield and top of the grips. I have several of these and will never sell them.

Today’s carry...a 2.5” Model 19 in a TT Gunleather KX Lightweight. The grips are Byron’s. 158 gr. LSWCHP Nyclad.

As you know, I'm not qualified to comment on the revolver (other than that, if it is part of your "accumulation", it must be a great piece). On the other hand, there's some admirable craftsmanship on that holster. :)

My today’s carry was a Gl...

never mind

and a Benchmade Phaeton.

I cannot picture you with a Glock. Nope.

That said, they have a place. Got a few myself. It’s funny, I am flying out to Reno, NV for the S&W collector meeting in June and taking only a Glock 29 and modern production 442. Going to spend nights out in the desert trolling for snakes and want to have something heavy duty. (Not for snakes. More concerned about two legged crazies). Anyway, a Glock is the perfect tool for the job. Durable and disposable if It gets lost or stolen in transit. Would never pack a blued Model 19 or 29 or a 66, etc. But, got to have a reliable snub (442) for in town deep conceal carry. Again, something modern production because of concern about loss/theft in transit.

Am I mistaken? I thought there was a statement on the S&WCA application about Glock owners being disqualified from joining. :)

That 2 1/2 in Smith 19 is a great piece.Much better than a Glock 19.My 2 1/2 in 19 and my equivalent model 66 are 2 of my favorites.
I'm like Ryan ,I love shooting k frame Smith's almost as much as my big bore revolvers.I just love all of them . Can't help myself
.

I haven't got any Smiths in the middle, just Inmproved I-Frame & J Frame, then it jumps up to N Frames. Not sure what would be right fer me... problem is, I don' choot 38 or 357 Magnum.

I hereby resolve to try not to read any more posts from @Prosecutor.

I've been chatting with @Have gun-will travel about just this issue. I joke about it but I really do own the world's smallest gun safe and those babies are jammed in like dills in a jar. I bought such a small one because I know myself well. Well, it didn't work.

My wife's been away a couple months taking care of an ill sister. Since she's been gone, I've bought 4 pistols...and she's still not home.

It's all her fault! o_O

Today’s carry...

One of my favorite early 1980s Smith & Wesson Model 37. It has a smooth trigger face. Wearing Herrett’s Shooting Ace grips and a Tyler T grip.

Funny story about these grips. Saw them on eBay cheap. Seller had them listed as being Shooting Stars for a Ruger Super Blackhawk. Of course, I knew immediately that they were Shooting Aces for a J frame Smith. They were just in the wrong Ruger box. So, snatched them up.

But of course! A non-pinned S&W 36 but with a smooth trigger and some Shooting Aces.

We're thinking alike on this...but out with Melvin Tyler's doo-dad

You boys got too many toys, ya'll need to send one to the less well off.

Today's pocket carry out back.

CA Bulldog .44 with three Speer Gold Dots & two hand-loaded shot shells.

Case XX Sambar Stag Stockman & Benchmade Phaeton OTF knife (posing for first time)

Hard for me to justify pocket carrying a J-frame (bib overalls) when this little CA .44 is not much bigger.
