Got zero use for a 41 Magnum...........Plenty of use for 45.........
Oh, this should be fun. Another caliber war.

HEH......No man, no war...... All boils down to personal preference, not whether one is better than the other, all have their use and all are good. I always lean to .45 anything. Years ago, I decided it was a waste to have both .429 and .45 and be aggravated with loading and doing both. I went 45. I did inherit a 44 a couple of years ago, and will one day get around to shooting it and messing with it. I have never had any 41s, and I load enough rifle stuff, I need to limit the number of handguns I load and mess with. I have had this 44 for about 3 years now, my buddy David used to come shoot this thing about every week until he passed on..............One day I will develop some good Cutting Edge bullet loads for it..........But won't be looking for any more 44s..............and I have to load Billys 44s anyway, so ..........
It's great in a levergun, but be choosy about factory ammo... most of it is too weak.I have been thinking about a 45lc lever action for no good reason. Cause 45 I guess.
Dear Mr. @MacEntyre,When I get old and retire like @Jeppo, I'll load & choot 'em all!

Mike had them build him one in 45 Colt. Took a long time to get it but it was his Africa gun. @Michael458 will be along directly to show it.
But all the blueing’s worn off.Changing barrels couldn't be easier!
That thing is the bomb!Changing barrels couldn't be easier!

New to me Smith&Wesson mod 25-15classic series with 6 1/2 inch barrel.
Personally, I think I’d prefer to save time & money and just hit myself in the head with a cast iron skillet.Billy's damn 2.5 inch 500 S&W.
Did you load that 500 S&W ammo? Hee HeeGlad you sorted those crooked photos out! HEH HEH... I was on it before you edited.....
I LIKE THIS GUN...... I have two just like it. I use one on the range as a test gun these days for 45 Colt.
Since Billy's damn 2.5 inch 500 S&W busted that ligament in my hand, I only shoot revolvers up to 1000-1100 fps anymore. Anything over that starts to tear and hurt too much.
Did you load that 500 S&W ammo? Hee Hee
it would probably break the damn skilletPersonally, I think I’d prefer to save time & money and just hit myself in the head with a cast iron skillet.
There may be alternatives. But, here’s one vendor.Where do you get the plugs?
