Too much time looking at those off brand guns.I waited too long.
Exactly right. That’s my punishment for even thinking about cheating on S&W.Too much time looking at those off brand guns.
I may have missed it when scanning this thread, but what size card is recommended for these? If I have any of the manuals for mine, they're buried in a pile of junk I'm not interested in digging through right now.
I have a 64GB in one at the moment. I just took it out to verify that it still records. This cam was used last weekend when we pulled our camper to the beach. The last file was the video of us pulling back into our yard, but the first file was of the campground, after we had already set up the camper. So, the trip down there had already been overwritten.
Will these accept larger cards? For instance, my trail cams recommend 32GB max.
If you think you might want a vid double tap the center button to save it. If I have close calls I do that since I use it mostly for work. 64g will almost record about 11 of my 13 hour days.

I did. And, I'll bet that the person in the red car never even saw what was happening.Close call! I bet you had some puckerage.
Well this thing likely paid for itself today. While driving down the road a tow-truck with an F-150 in tow was passing me going the opposite direction when 3 large pieces of fiberglass reinforced plastic (think shower wall liner) flew out of the bed of the F-150 and into my path, hitting the front of the truck and down the driver's side leaving big scratches a dent and other streaks of gelcoat/fiberglass. I followed the guy to his shop and he told me to get the F-150s info. I did but when I called my insurance guy he said I needed the tow-truck's info as he was pulling the F-150 and that now that I've left most likely the tow truck will not give me the info so I need to file with the NCSH. I called the HP and told them what was up and that I had dash cam video and other pictures and descriptions in a word document. The trooper said it sounds cut and dry and would be there in 30 minutes. He came, took my info agreed that it isn't my fault and asked for the dash cam video and the word document. I'm waiting for him to call back now either tonight or tomorrow.I just picked up a Rexing V1P 3rd gen with the rear facing 2nd camera. I haven't had much time to set it up (all I was able to do was to attach the mount tonight) but I found out the F150 doesn't have a switched cig lighter port so it will have to be powered with the hard wire kit which should come tomorrow.
Thanks for all the recommendations.
