Apparently I got lucky and mine is welded upon closer inspection. Good times.

Drill time!

My Scorpion SBR. [IMG2=JSON]{"data-align":"none","data-size":"full","src":"http:\/\/i764.photobucket.com\/albums\/xx282\/jaston87\/Guns\/CZ20Scorpion20Evo320SBR1_zpsbge4vcmj.jpg"}[/IMG2]

HBI trigger spring kit
HBI Aluminum safety set
922r kit
Octane 9 HD
SiCo fixed 18x1 adapter
THSF engraving (doesn't get much better)

Need a grip (the pathfinder looks like the best thing going) and the OE pistol MLOK handguard. A drop in trigger like a 4.5lb CMC would be awesome but I'm not holding my breath.

Edit: [posted after nclivingbrit's comment haha]
My wife shooting 4rd into dirt then 2rd on steel.

You talking bout the HBI Spring kit? If you're near Charlotte bring it to me and I'll help you out. If not near Charlotte you can ship to me and I'll install it for you.

I finally got this thing in. It only took me an hour and 1/2. :( I had to redo it a few times because I got it wrong. Last piece I need to buy is the charging handle.

I bought this mag loader and it has been working fine. Net very fast but easier on the fingers:
Djstorm100 I'll test one out for you. I'm sure you can sell them $20 a piece. The yetiwerks one appears to be 3d printed.

Thanks

Shooters element trigger
Shooters element 6 lbs trigger springs
Apex tactical grip

I'm not 100% on this one yet. I need to shoot it.

Yetiwerks extended mag paddle
I'm probably going to buy the shooters element extended charging handle to match.

Looks good! The Zhukov is the only other stock I really think fits the gun well aesthetically.
How long is that barrel? Looks like a lot of suppressor stick out of the handguard.

I forget but it's the stock barrel that came on the pistol which is like 7.72" but the Octane 45HD sticks out a bit. I'd love to tuck an Omega 9K down there.

Ahh I see now that I'm on my pc. It looks like there is a couple inches from the wrench flats to bottom of can. That added length of the 3 lug setup is what turned me off to the idea, but it certainly is convenient.

Yeah, I wish the 3-lug didn't make it so long but with an Omega 9k, it'll be just enough to clear with the 3-lug attached. I love running the 3-lug since I don't have to worry about tightening down the can every now and then.

If anyone is on the fence about which grip to get and really like and AR grip angle, the Yeti Wurks Switchback is worth the price tag. Very close to an MOE angle and feel just different texture.

I actually tried fabricating an adapter to use an MOE grip, but it's not possible to execute well without modifying the grip since the CZ grip lug is wider than an AR and sits a little low.

I just need a charging handle now, and possibly a shooters element trigger shoe. Then I need to get these damn side rails milled off since no one offers a smooth polymer pistol handguard.

Added some new parts:

Yeti Wurks Everest Grip
Yeti Wurks Denali QD Point
Yeti Wurks Scorpion Evo III Avalanche Mag release
Parker Mountain Machining Left Rear QD Sling Mount

Grip and mag release makes a world of different. I'm looking into upgrading the HBI handguard.

Do you have any issues shooting it without the suppressor? I'm about the to submit my paperwork to convert my Scorpion carbine into a SBR. I will be using with and without a suppressor. With a really short barrel it looks like one could get some powder burns if you grip to far out on the handguard.

I don't shoot it without the can because the barrel is under the handguard.

I was concerned about the safety aspect as well. Thanks for your thoughts. It looks great by the way!

I like the carbine forend and understand it is Available from CZ.

What would be less expensive as the basis of an SBR build: pistol or carbine? Assuming I wanted to add the CZ stock and forend to a pistol?

I don't think I would care for the pistol while I wait for a stamp but I liked the carbine I handled.

I didn't price it out to see which would be cheaper. Like you, I liked the carbine hand guard and I wanted to shoot it while I waited for the tax stamp. So I just went with the carbine. Haven't regretted that choice at all. It is fun and a smooth shooting gun. Only problem you will have is keeping ammo in stocked up!
